As my days on s4 league wind down, I decided to make a series of videos giving all my knowledge to the new generation like the great players before me did. (Cysote,Kaigu..etc.) In this video I introduce the concept of the 3 Gears Of Dodging. I encourage the experienced players of s4 league to also make videos to inform those who do not have as much experience. I learned through watching others, and most Pro ranks owe what they are today to someone else. So give back to your community and make s4 a more skillful place. Thanks,
Coldsoldier.

if you really wanted to make the S4 community more skilled you'd make a video about aiming

Not even that teach em not to whine so much >.>
about every single thing I hate how the new community of s4 has become so horrible. I've been playing since open beta so I have every right to say it. Sadly even my skill has fallen a bit

Which ones? Most most on the vid we already named and I used the legal names with some Variations to show an advanced level. "Base Step". I named the moves that because there we so basic, no one cared to name em. I wanted to get the dodges named so I could refer to the specific dodge and people would understand. "Tri Gripping" was something I came up with because it fitted the dodge and the dodge would not have a name otherwise. Just a way for me to refer to things with better understanding.

If you looked, you would see that they are vids about aiming. But teach aiming? "Put the cursor on the person. Each weapon has a different shooting point". Yea, I could really get into that. Lol.
Dodging is something people undervalue and has alot of epic things you can do with it. Thats why I choose dodging. But please if your a master of aiming, Feel free to drop a vid or two. =D

Darn Double Post!! Sowwie. Lol

First teach people to aim, then teach them to waste SP dodging around thinking he is invicible like he picked up a super mario bros super star.

I'm a dodging guy. I did a video on something I was very good at. Aiming? I'm average. You wouldn't want an average guy giving tips to people who want an expert. But like I said before, instead of complaining about these things, take the initiative and do something about it. Experienced players now don't want to share what they know for selfish reasons. Whether your an expert on DMing, Reving,Sniping...etc. Whatever it is, you can help others in becoming better and gaining more skill in that area. That is exactly what I did. I'm sure you all have your definitions of skill, but instead of preaching to me,who is actually trying to help people in dodges, preach to the world and show them your definition of skill.

Just to let you know: We do appreciate you posting your video and guides. However, videos, strategies, and what not are not in this section. I will move the thread to the appropriate section, Style-8. I am really sorry, but that is how our forum works.

Ahh thats completely fine. I actually wanted to post in the guides section but assumed the guide would have to be approved by someone first. Thanks for correcting me.

If you'd like to make a carbon copy, you can post it in the "Submit guides" section. That's where guides that have not been approved go. Then someone from staff takes a look at it, gives you some feedback or just approves it. I haven't ASSIGNED someone to do that and I'm a bit behind, but just poke me if you want me to take a look at the guide for approval.

Also, don't mind Trace. Recently, he's tried to make a point through trolling and it ends up getting him in trouble ><. If you want to make it a worthwhile guide though, you will have to explain why, in competitive play, this is necessary. Otherwise, it's just nice information rather than essential.

I must say that this is SP intensive, but seeing as how most S4 players usually spam now, stuff like this is very useful against them. I was surprised you didn't mention dodging by walljumping. That is more practical than most people realize.

This reminds me of Aeromesi's topic, so I won't watch the video or comment on it, but I think it's a good idea to teach newbies, if you are into that kinda stuff.
