Bad advice : SPIN SPIN SPIN

Somewhat good advice: Most Tryn I see are high critical, decent lifesteal. His spinning skill is great for closing the distance on ranged or distant enemies, afterwards your slowing skill (sorry I don't remeber the name,) is great then for keeping them in range of your high damage hits. For his ulti, obviously if you think you are about to die popping it is good, however if you choose your enemies right, you can kill 1 or 2 and then pop your ulti to get out without dying. your bloodlust's passive increases your attack per kill and critical strike for a period of time, this is were having a good crit chance really helps you slay others easily once you have hit them a few times, this combined with his character passive of increased crit chance as his hp goes down makes a 1/2 hp tryn very scary for anything that doesnt have a thornmail or isnt built like a tank. As for items: Infinity Edge, bloodthurster, beserker greaves, black clever, maybe ghostblade, and any other weapon which i fits these, maybe a second bloodthurster or a phantom dancer to increase crit chance. However since Tryn does not have a stun or knock up of any kind, you might want to get your team mates (probably tank) to make your enemies pop those skills before you attack, however if you are stunned and hopefully you last long enough to pop your ulti, you might be able to get away from your enemies, or regain your hp in time to help your team again in a fight. Honestly I do not play him much, but i hope this helped. Tryn can be scary, but I notice is a big target for stuns and knock ups , so be smart, watch your enemies skills, and SPIN SPIN SPIN :D.

(Note: I am a average player, not a pro, so don't take this as expert advice, just use it as a referance and don't hate on me for my noobness :<)

Trynd's job in teamfights is to take out carries like ashe, caitlyn, or squishies, etc. You need to be able to predict the burst that they have and it probably isn't the best idea in the world to initiate on your own.

You definitely have to jungle now, because of the recent change to him, unless you have a boss duo lane partner like alistar or something, you're probably going to lose the lane or not be able to farm well.
from what i've seen, you need to obviously jungle and gank when you can but don't neglect farm to sit in brush waiting for a gank. if the lane you're ganking has no cc and can escape easily, you probably shouldn't bother to gank.
The wonderfulness of higher levels of elo is that people call out when their lane opponents blow their summoners, which helps Trynd alot if he can manage to get some hits in when he ganks. You will most likely be more successful ganking with red buff on a lane with a stun or some other form of hard CC. Make sure you're building accordingly, Getting items like youmuu's and Infinity edge, and that your boots will be berserker/dodge/tenacity depending on how strong the enemies casters/ad or lack of cc they have. trynd definately needs some form of survival item late game, his ultimate is not enough. so make sure after you get phantom dancers/blood thirster(not the best item on trynd) that you get something like bv/randuins/whatever and that your team is able to help whenever you fight. trynds ult also isnt just for running away, don't forget that, you can stand in a fight and ult when you get low to kill their casters and get away. You'll also crit like crazy at 1 hp, so it shouldn't be very hard with inf edge. also, in terms of defensive items, Stuff like GA and QSS will make you way more durable too; GA for a second life which is nice or QSS to break cc on yourself to keep hitting people.

Lastly, like any champion, make sure you FARM because farm, unlike teammates, will never betray you. This means like, when a lane is pushed or an enemy turret is down, you grab a ward and run up there, ward the jungle below you, eye on the map and push. This will get you ahead in cs and level, and more than likely will be more use to your team by doing this because you draw attention to yourself by doing so and you can escape easily with youmuu+spin, and if they only send 1 person you might be able to kill that person and get even fed AND farmed (this is why the ward helps). Either way, better luck next time.

Hm that would make sense why laning was so hard with him LOL
appreciate the advice, I am kinda scared of trying him out in a normal game...I always forget to hit the Q for healing lol
and again timing his ultimate slips my mind also....friend told me to play a couple of games with him so I'd get use to him
also herd rushing IE is a must

you can play with me later if you want. I wouldn't really try it out in a solo normal queue.
