Sometimes, a small amount of work goes a long way.

It doesss need a little work, kinda seems cluttered...lol it did seem like you rushed it, but I like it due to the picture of choice :D

and Background seems way to plainnnn could add some scan lines behind the brushes ect.

the girl on the left side lost herrr arm btw :sweat:

For some reason scan lines don't work on it. It just makes the image all gray and stuff. and I just noticed her arm LOL oops~

It's beautiful though there is room for improvement. If possible, try to make the crop outlines on the characters less visible and blend into the background. <-- JUST MY OPINION

Uh. Considering the image sequence on youtube is "repeat based on the size of the image" if the scale was large enough to not be repeated over and over again across the background (Not factoring in the font the youtuber might be using) this would pass for decent, but I think the texure quality of the characters don't match or compliment the background. In all serious-ness, the background looks like my wallpaper from a local wallmart with a random plaster of a video game character in the center. It does not really fall together nicely and the blue of the background and their shirts arn't exactly "toe and toe" with each other.

So unless this person literally asked for "Yada yada characters on anything you find suitable as a background please" then, I guess it's nothing you can do. But if they didn't--

Try not to photoshop a un-realistic peice of work, onto a bland peice of work covered with fixed brush sizes.

If you're going to post something on the internet (no matter the time you've spent on it or on a friendly forum) then ask for thoughts on it, you should honestly give the smaller things some attention and always re-look at your work before you save as .png

And even if those little "bubble things" are from a paintbrush, I would seriously delete that entire brush-set and check out deviantart.com and take 15-20 minutes really looking for some brushes that might suit your own interests better. (If you're really into photoshoping and making things look different) You should look into making your own brushes.

This is only my opinion, because i've been using photoshop for a really long time now and I know it's your first time, but my tone and way of typing is not to bash your work. Just contriubuting from my own way of looking at this. And since you're not really asking for suggestions, I guess that is all.

Just going to add a few things I think that needed much more consideration:

1) Flow, flow, flow. Flow is the #1 essential aspect of anything. You want the signature (or in this instance, the background) to flow with the picture you use so that it's gentle on the eyes. Right now, there is no flow. The flowers and stars and petals are all over the place and it takes away from the beauty of your render. You should try going along with the "souls" in the render and try to blend them into the flow. I can sort of sense (from the cropping) that it flows upwards, so something like the Atari logo (the shape anyways) would do. Remember that a proper flow will always make a signature better.

2) On the same topic...the render. You obviously didn't spend a lot of time on it. It can get tedious, but you should seriously put the effort into slicing away the unwanted parts. Or, you could have tried to find a complete render for it. I can still see the white background around the "souls" which destroys the background. I still can't look away from it, it's that bad to be honest.

3) The floral pattern seems to fit the theme, but there's too much of it. Cutting it down, or using some blends to soothe it into the background would be great. You should take some time and search up some C4Ds or Abstract renders. They really go a long way and bring out the best of your background/signature. You don't have to use the entire render, just bits and pieces that flow and leave out the rest. Something similar to Ryuzaki's green render would have been wonderful (and goes with the theme too).

4) The concept for the layout doesn't seem finished. This is for a Youtube background, and you don't want the user to scroll down all the way to the bottom to see the beautiful artwork (no one would even scroll after seeing flowers and stars). The two women should have been placed on the sides of the screen for a more dramatic affect.

It was a first try, so it's not all that surprising. It wasn't too bad, but not good either. You'll learn and eventually create better pieces!! C;

Patterns and simplicity would go better with the theme you are presenting.
