Heads up, some of it may be depressing, or otherwise useless to some. I do accept criticism because i'm not the best, but I don't want obvious flames, cuz i'm far from the worst (or at least I hope I am)

I guess i'll post one of my more liked poems first.

The Price of Happiness

What happens when,
The price of life,
Crashes to an all time low?

Do the people cry,
Do they suffer,
Or do they find a way to grow?

What happens when,
The cost of giving,
Becomes too much of a burden to pay?

Do we hoard our earnings,
And shun the unfortunate,
Or do we correct our ways?

What IS the Price of Happiness?
Is it a dollar, or two?
Or too much to pay?

When is the price too high?
When a brother is forced to kill his own?
Or when you can't find another way?

What is the price your willing to pay?
Are you prepared to do anything?
To do anybody?

Are you willing to sell your soul?
Your Mind?
Your body?

Will you get on your hands?
Your knees?
Just to have another toy, another lie?

When is enough, enough?
When someone pulls the trigger?
And takes away a life?

If so cut my strings now,
Because i'm no ones puppet,
I create my own price.

No amount of happiness,
Can equal my pain,

I'm tired of all these fakes,
Who make the claims,

I say f*** it,
Lets string them all up,
Put'em out in the sun,

Lay them all out,
Drop'em in the streets,
And make them face our guns,

Because we write our own destiny,
No more of this puppetry shit,

And with this line it's over,
I'm done,
I QUIT!

So whats the price of happiness,
The price of those tears,
This pain?

It's absolutely nothing,
Because happiness is nothing more,
Than a fake claim to fame.

It exists as long as they allow it,
And once your time is up,
Thats it,

It was good while it lasted,
Maybe one day you'll find,
The true Price of Happiness.
