In the vid, it says "Season 1". More theme patches in the future?

Anyway, I'm speculating that the reason this next Versus is called "Dark Lightning" is because we're probably getting this patch on the 26th and will only have three days till the 29th to adapt to the new weapons for the Versus.

Edit: And that chaser doll is cute overload O.O

Edit2: After watching the video 4 times because of the music, I've noticed a few more things. The melee weapon has two interesting features: a charge-up and a backwards arcing air-attack. Can't tell how useful they will be just yet until we get a hands-on with the delays and what-not.

That unnamed gun near the end of the video... it may follow the same trend as that bomb from the last patch where they'll release the name later.


It's going to be an interesting year if they keep up this pace.

Everything looks badass. The map (dig that chained moon with glowing blue neon crucifixs'), the new weapons, the new clothes. I even like the new G-Cap AirGun despite the fact I hate the gun.

Wow I'm impressed...Pentavision actually put work into something for once. Map looks great, and the weapons look pretty well done also.

Indeed! I actually think the design of the new items/map in this patch looks brilliant, something which we haven't really seen for a very very long time. Whether or not it's worth reinstalling S4 for..? We will seeee... :thumbsup:

My my, Pentavision seems to be improving. The new map looks quite nice and I like the music. Two new weapons named and official with a third slipped in at 1:53 in that trailer, all of which seem interesting. I don't really care about the new Chaser itself but hey, it's something. And I absolutely must have that new male suit set. I'm looking forward to this month's patch now. I believe that, what with the renaming of Versus to Dark Lighting Versus, we will be seeing this new content very soon.

Also, count the new weapons!
-Spy Dagger
-Air Cannon
-Homing Rifle (it's being re-released right?)
-Earth Bomber (not out yet right? I don't play KR :x)
-Twin Swords

-Mystery Weapon shown at 1:53

Let's hope there's no serious balance issues with the latest batch...

Or i could be wrong since i'm partly asleep

Looks good tho, mite actually play Chaser just for the map and New Chaser Model

Damn the new chaser girl is cute kinda reminds me of Luise Meyrink from the King of Fighters Series, but sadly i don't believe in the use of them

Have not gotten to play captains mode yet so i dont know how nightmare will play out. I am already predicting bads things in chasers mainly because its hinting that a false step will kill you so i'm seeing rings out again.

I will be abusing the steel off of those twin blades, i'd rather have them look like the longswords of Lann's from Vindictus but i'll take the Chains of Athena. This weapon looks like it requires a lot of training to unlock any of its secrets.

The Spark Rifle i hope wont work like another auto-sniper because if this effect is anything like getting paralyzed then its going to end badly. Also this 'effect' might be either a DoT or a stun or worse both or it might just might be nothing and causes this extra damage by whoever is tagged by the effect

Could care less about the costumes and its AP sets
