Hello hello, Reiki here!

Today marks the first day of registration for S5's own forum event called "Make it your S4~!". It's a contest to see who can make a masterpiece and do the best artwork or scripture they can possibly do to pretain to S4. I'm really excited to see what people come up with since we've already accumulated so many members over the weeks since S4 came to Alaplaya! We're hoping many more come, but we'd really like to do things for you. SO! Here's the write outline for the event and I hope many people participate.

Make it your S4~!!!

Explanation: Make it your S4 is a month long contest starting September 27th and ending October 31st, Halloween! Participants will make artwork or write short stories, poems, or songs in order to compete with other people. Participants will be judged by the staff of S5 and the announcement of the prizes will be given Halloween afternoon. Final entries for the contest will need to be submitted before the 26th to give judges enough time to look through them all. We want to get to all of your work and make sure it was judged properly. Participants must adhere to contest rules or face disqualification. All normal forum rules apply. Failure to comply with rules repeatedly will result in temporary suspension of S5 privelages as well as possible banning from entry of future events. S5 does not hold the right to use, claim, or sell participants entries. All entries, if used at a future date, will have the original artist/author consent beforehand.

Contest Rules

1. No put-downs

2. No swearing or obscene language/behavior/entries

3. No plagarism (Copying another person's work)

4. No stealing (All pieces have rights reserved to original artists)

Contest Guidelines:

All pieces are to be submitted before the dates submitted. No exceptions

All pieces must be relevant to S4 by a majority margin. This means a lot of the masterpiece has to be S4 related.

Pieces will be graded on originality, detail, relevance, and how well people use this phrase "Make it your S4~!"
Each person will receive from 0-4 points in either category depending on how well they did. A perfect score is 16.


Contest Prizes:

3rd place - 5 dollars and a title prize

2nd place - 10 dollars and a title prize

1st place - 20 dollars and a title prize

(All prizes are distributed through paypal. You need a paypal account to receive the prize. Do not let that discourage you. Registration is still free!)

[Greens]

My breathes were short and fast as I sprinted across this damned place looking for prey. I hadn't realized how tired I was; the gunshots could be heard in the distance. I was nearing a battle and I knew I'd have no time to take aim, so I pulled out my plasma sword. I recently polished it, but it still had the rancid smell of defeat. Zero kills with this damn thing, but I wasn't going to quit. I was going to master it, and defeat all who dare fire even one shot at me. Taking up the plasma sword was already a tiring task, but running with it was hell. I remember being beaten numerous times by a man who goes by Acewing; he inspired me to learn. The Plasma Sword was the tool I'd use to exact my revenge on Acewing, for sending me three feet into the air without a second thought. Revenge will be sweet.

I've found them; I've found Alpha team. As I took cover behind a crate that was about to give out, I had one thing on my mind: Shit. Finally, the crate bursted, and I leaped across the trench. My jump was much too short and as I was about to hit the ground, and look stupid in front of all of Alpha team, I was lifted! I looked up and there was someone whom I didn't recognize, but I did see that she was wearing red. I've been captured! There I was hanging in front of Alpha's gun stunned with fear. I closed my eyes ready to be blasted out of the sky. One breath...

Awakened by the gunfire, I opened my eyes, feeling my body to check if there were any wounds. Maybe I was too numb to feel anything, but I was clean; without a scratch. Bewildered, I looked around seeing that my team had come just in time, and there yards away from me, Acewing stood shooting crazily at my teamates. Letting out a grunt of anger I charged toward him, suddenly I was covered in a blue aura. Had my fury been converted into pure energy? I didn't care; I hit him. My shoulder hit his stomach and I sidestepped ready to take my strongest swing. Hiyaaa!

Acewing flew through the sky and hit the wall. I got him. I finally -- AGH! I've been sniped. Oh, come on.

Sorry S5 staff, I swore a little here and there, and I couldn't seem to use "Make it your S4~!". I'm not looking to win any cash either; bragging rights will do enough for me. This story is mostly true,

Acewing did inspire me to learn how to use the plasma sword.
I did exact my revenge.
I added a few features (like being lifted by the opponent), but just to make it more cinematic.
The ending is unfortunately way too common. Ever charge in with your Plasma Sword, get a kill and then you find yourself on everyone's crosshair? It's like: Yay! I got him!.... BAM!. And you're deeead. Oh well. And finally,

(Note: I edited the end in order to fit the overall theme of the event. It's similar to the one in the fanfic's section, cept I plan to continue that one. Hope you enjoy it!)

Station 1. 18:00. The usual pre-game meeting place.

As usual, I take my seat on the train. the one closest to the doors up front. While nodding and bopping my head with closed eyes to the music coming from my headphones, I take a quick sip of my milkshake. I'll need it if I'm going to stay awake once the bullets start flying. to go along with the head bopping, my feet tap to the tempo of the music. As usual, the smooth beats of m-flo always seem to keep me active. I open my eyes for a few seconds, remove my headphones and look around to see if anyone I know had boarded the train yet. No one. I sigh while thinking to myself "Late as always... At this rate, we'll have to cancel and set up another date..." Apparently I didn't look hard enough. As I placed my headphones back on, the sound had already been cut off. I feel my pockets and realize the jack had been removed from the mp3 player. I then remove my headphones again, smirk and curl up my left hand into a fist. I then proceeded to punch what seemed to be empty space to the left of me only to feel someone grab my fist in the center of their palm.

"Honestly AQ... That trick is getting old don't you think?"

"Heh... I was wondering how long it would take you to realize I was here."

The stealth cloak began to wear off to reveal a person in a white jacket and pants with zippers at the side as well as a face mask and messy white hair. It was my close friend who goes by the Alias Dr. Aquafresh. I just call him AQ for short though. He lets go of my fist.

"So how long were you sitting here for?" I ask.

"Quite some time" he replies.

"Have you heard from QC at all today?"

"Nah. You know him already. Such a complainer. One thing goes wrong and he doesn't even want to play anymore"

QC Slyce, or just Slyce is another friend of ours. We're encouraging him to get back into S4 League, but he feels that it doesn't require a lot of skill in his case. Hopefully he'll change his mind one day...

I shrug. "Well you know what they say... "You can bring a horse to a river, but you can't make it drink"

"Yea... It's whatever with this guy anyway..."

I pause to take another quick sip of my milkshake. It's almost finished.

"So... Where's everyone else at?"

He scratches his head.

"I don't know. I gave them the message and I got a couple of maybes and some said defiantly."

"Good. Not that it's a big deal or anything. I just want to get as much people involved as possible."

"Understandable..." He then turns his attention to the cup I'm holding "By the way... Are you going to finish that milkshake? I didn't have anything at all this morning"

I take one look at it, then remove the cover and straw and hand it to him.

"Knock yourself out."

"Thanks. I owe you one." He takes a gulp of the last of the milkshake. "Hey... There wasn't a whole lot left..."

"Well you should have said something earlier instead of playing hide & seek. I would have left you some more."

He laughs "That's messed up bro"

I chuckled "Your loss man." As soon as I was preparing to place my headphones back on, a voice blared from the subway speakers.

"The trains departing to Station 2... Will leave in approximately... 5 minuets. I repeat. The trains departing to Station 2... Will leave in approximately... 5 minuets. Alpha team members must enter the train to the left side of the station, while beta team members enter to the right side of the station. Fans and spectators please enter the trains on the lower level. Thank you and enjoy S4 League!"

AQ digs into his pockets and unravels some gum in a pack. he takes one out and begins to unravel the foil paper it's in, then proceeds to chew. "It's almost time eh?" he hands me another piece of gum still wrapped in the foil. I take it from his hands and reply "Yeah... Just about...". I unravel the gum and proceed to chew on it.

Just then, a voice coming from across the seat says. "You'll give me a piece too I hope. Otherwise I'll--"

Without looking up I reply "Yea yea I know Greens. You'll do bad stuff to your imaginary cat." I then laugh at the silly thought. The person across from me wore a similar attire to AQ, but instead had on a different pair of pants. his hair style was that of an really large cowlick. It was Greens. The new friend I made back during a Touchdown game in the tunnel.

"Oh Axle... You know me too well" He said in a rather sweet voice

"Too well to know that you probably also did stuff to some rock I don't even want to think about right now..." Regardless, I laugh at that too. Greens is a pretty funny guy once you get to know him. Even though his humor seems to be out there to some.

"So your Greens huh? Axle told me about you" AQ said while chewing his gum.

"As did he about you." Greens replied. "So... Do I get a piece of gum too?"

AQ slides one out of the pack, and only using his index and middle fingers tosses it as if he were a ninja tossing a needle at his victim in some old Japanese flick. Greens catches it in the palm of his hands, unravels the foil and proceeds to chew. Just then, the announcement comes on again, this time to let us know the train leaves in about a minuet. As soon as the announcement was made, two more friends male and female come running into the train. the Male wearing just a black sweater and some padded black pants is out of breath and takes a seat. "Made it... Just in... The nick of time..." He then lets out a sigh of relief. His alias is known as BlackLupin01. Just like the name of the character created by monkey punch. We just call him Lupin for short. He's new to S4 so I figured I'd show him some stuff not covered by the tutorial. A nice guy overall. The female fanned herself off and sighed in relief as well. Her alias was Saikotic. Sai for short of course. She wore some pretty baggy pants and a jacket from a different set that giver her a rather unique look. "So... Are we really going to do this? Are you sure we're ready?"

"I'm pretty sure we are. We practiced for weeks. The only way we're going to find out how good we are is if we put ourselves to the test."

We talked amongst ourselves until the final announcement was made as the train doors close. "Trains are now departing for Station 2 The next trains will arrive in... 1 hour and 40 minuets." As the train began to move, a wave of silence hit us all... I throw back on my headphones, plug the jack in and lean back with my eyes closed. As the beats pulsate though my eardrums, I begin to think to myself:

"This is it... The start of a ongoing story. There may not be many of us now, but in due time we'll grow... As the leader of this group, I have no doubts whatsoever... We can do this... We can win..."

Station 2. 18:50.

About 45 minuets later, the train began to slow down. I remove my headphones for a while. The muffled sounds of the Announcer and the fans can be heard from the outside. Seems like we were the first ones to make it as the beta team hasn't taken their positions yet. The doors open up and the sounds of the roaring fans being pumped up by the Announcer can be heard clearly. Music begins to blast from the speakers.

"Man I'm so amped! I defiantly feel like I can take on the whole world! Lupin says with much excitement.

"Oh my... Such a huge crowd just for us!" says Green.

"Well... Time to give it my all!" Says Sai as she breaks out her SMGs.

"Any words of wisdom to give us?" AQ asks.

"Just four" I reply

"Show them your S4?"

"Close..." I say while smirking and putting my headphones back on.

Just a note to all participants! If you'd like to edit or add onto your entry, you can do that until the final entry date. We'll be sure to check whose edited and who hasn't so no trying to fool us. :-D

Anyway, this is looking good, I'm really enjoying seeing these fanfics, but I don't want to read them in depth or I might get a bias ;-; So I'll wait until it starts winding down to the point of final entries.

Oh yeah, I still have to do this xD I've changed my concept like 3 times now. Was gonna do a high poly S4 character. But I decided no to that since I hate unwrapping characters.

As it stands, there are only 3 entries ;-; With all of the craziness this month, any other entries have disappeared out of my saved PM files -.- I'll be sure to run it much better next month, but anyway, here are the rankings! Good job and I'll see you guys next contest, hopefully!

1. Ethsperion - 12 points (Didn't have Make it your S4 in it!)
2. Axle - 11 points (So close, but I would've liked a little more meat to the story, but over all, a great story!)
3. Greens - 8 (The story was good, but it felt a little like a dialogue more than a story. Run it a bit more with detail and it would've been even more awesome!)
