All in all this is what I think:

Homing Rifle - nerfed and redesigned. As everyone was saying it's OP and personally I feel it looks like crap.
Spy Dagger - seriously, nerf it a bit.
Air Cannon - needs higher damage and range.

@homing rifle: its OP in hands of some premium Set user. I guess we wont have it since its already taken out in KRs4.
@dagger: Useless at st2. Gamebreaking at Oldschool and Highway due to the power of 1 hitting objects. And it has a nice spamm atk. Probably this weap will stay unchanged.

@AirCanon: Insane Deffweap in the righthands but useless due to limited Ammo. If this gun stays it will be forced with more Ammo i guess.

@General: Worst thing by now is the LAGG. Making the game unplayable.

It's just HR League for 7 days, after that it probably will be deleted and forgotten like the Grenade Launcher or perhaps they keep the HR coded and hidden like the GL, in which case you can have fun fighting 1HKO trainers combined with the HR, right? Anyways, after this chaotic week we can all go back to our old fashioned Semi/Smash, CS and SMG's and complain how ST2 is the only used map around. :thumbsup:

Just played a game after several months of absence. I didn't do so horrible, but I was surprised how weird the new weapons were.

The Homing rifle is broken. Anyone with premium outfit would rock you, unless you dodge the bullets like mad. OH WAIT, YOU CAN'T. The only reason why I could say that it isn't THAT OP is because I use a +6 set with forcepacks. I outdamage that betch like a mofo. Without my virtual overpowered items, then the HR is OP.

The spy dagger is insane. Unless you like scouting for walking translucent ghosts, then prepare to get lubed and violated by these babies. Then again, crow CS is just as OP, only the stab animation is rather fast and the range is different from CS AoE.

The Airgun... well, it wasn't that good in DM maps. I never got killed by that weapon, but lol the knockback is whoa. Probably because it might only be effective in TD games where you have to defend something without moving that much.

I didn't use the coin system. I don't feel like punching in keys while I respawn.

I know when a weapon's autoaim is too much when a single random can kill me in 2 seconds from the other side of Station-2, while I get a measly 5 hits on him, including crits. Like someone else said earlier, "auto-aim doesn't work on shooters".

Shit ain't even funny, but once I get one myself, I'll elaborate on my thoughts.

I don't get why everyone's empathizing on people with ap++ clothing using HR when clothing nor defense is affected by the weapon lol
A "+13" HR = same damage of a +5 HR

Just tested out the new weapons.
The Homing Rifle has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge auto-aim and it's damage ain't that small. Look's a preety good gun for wallsnipin in DM's against fast moving targets.
The Spy Dagger is awsome, I got the following result in a DM while joining in the 2nd half:

Air Gun is just horrible, didn't even hit with a fully charged shot at close range 3 times in a row


Meanwhile, in other patch news, looks like AP is fixing the now old school BR lag.

I can only see the use of air with canceling, you need practice to use it well. You can actually run faster than the knock back of the air gun, which means you can rev them in the back of their head right after the shot. Or combo them with a CS heavy or bat jump attack.

Canceling with shield I find is better, because you can dash out of the activating animation. I'm really loving the weapon as it allows me to be more creative with my approach. it's not a slow weapon to run with as well.

Why am I getting the feeling that it doesn't home in as much as it used to. Then again, I'd totally perm this gun if it wasn't homing at all. The ball is wide enough for me to land shots and the firing rate is good.

How when trying to ps someone who almost finished his spy dagger animation, you all of a sudden receive 3 hits and die.
But, I'm aware of the +5's
And I think I'ma love when everyone's gonna think that their new weapons suck, after everyone loses their +5, buy it in the shop and play with them.

Ah, 1 out of 4 hits would give 60
and for some reason, a lag hit made 80.

Air Gun is just awesome. An aimable heavy slash with a wide hitbox, short startup. quick recovery and good damage. This thing is a sword killer! And because the Air Gun is so fast you will often wallslam your opponent giving you a opportunity to finish them off. The fact it only has 6 bullets makes it even more fun to play since you have to use them sparingly.

You can increase the range of the Air Gun by aiming more to the left or right because the hitbox of the Air Gun is like a wall.

Anyway...Why is the Air Gun a shooting weapon? Well it shoots yes, Duuh! But it should be a special weapon....but wait! You can wallshoot with it! Now it makes perfect sense!

Also : This thing can shoot through ceilings! I have managed to hit somebody multiple times through the ceiling of Neden-2. Oo
