Here we go with the second part of Patch 24 as it contains so many novelties we could impossibly patch it all at once. While in the first part there was the new map Office, new costumes and new capsules, we’re proudly presenting new weapons, the new Buff Coin System and two events to introduce these novelties. Read on…


New Weapons

First of all, there are three new weapons we can’t wait to introduce to you: The Homing Rifle, the Airgun and the Spy Dagger. Each of them comes with special characteristics; the Homing Rifle for example automatically targets your opponent which makes it easier for beginners to score hits. The Air gun is a portable turbine to carry around with you and cause damage and blow at any mid-range aim. The Spy Dagger at last is a lethal close combat weapon for skilled players. Charge into your opponents and cause critical damage, but be swift!

New Buff Coin System

As a major improvement to the matches, there is the new Buff Coin System you can se b. Each time you're killed during a match, it will be displayed. For a couple of coins it gives yous everal possiblities: You can increase your maximum EXP and PEN rate with Lucky Shots, increase your HP and SP for a limited time or purchase a locked crosshair onto the opponent who draw you out to simplify your revenge. Try it out, it's fun!

Events

Those micro purchases work with coins which are also contained in the following event: Between today, November 30th and Wednesday, December 15th, the new Buff Coin System is introduced with 100 Coins for all players every day. This means that, no matter how often you spend up to 100 coins a day, there are 100 new coins on the next day! It’s like a bank account that rebalances itself, just to give you the opportunity to try everything. So take this chance to try out the Buff Coin System....

The second event is also running from 11/30 until 12/15 and includes the new weapons Homing Rifle, Airgun and Spy Dagger: Before you judge them by the looks or are prejudiced, you will have the chance to test each of the weapons personally for 7 days and afterwards make your expertise…


Additionally, the events of the first part of Patch 24 are also still running:

1 - The Black Friday Chance x3 where the probability to receive ForcePack items out of the G’s Capsules you open is three times as high – a hell of an opportunity to get one of the rare ForcePack items!

2 - Second, there is the new G’s Shark Machine Gun Capsule taking part in a First time AP event: All users who decide to purchase something for the first time will be rewarded with 20 free G’s Shark Machine Gun Capsules! Twenty!

3 - Remember the S4 Christmas Pets? Little Rudolph, the cute one, Ddolph the bully, Kid Rudolph and DJ Santa? They’re taking part in our Christmas promotion this year:

Ddolph is rewarded for 30 days by spending 20k AP on your Christmas shopping tour, and as a permanent pet by spending 40k AP.

4 - Little Rudolph can also be yours, if you gain 10.000 EXP during the event period from November 25 th until December 8 th Little Rudolph will be yours for 30 days. If you manage to earn 30.000 EXP, he is even yours as a permanent item!

5 - DJ Santa, Kid Rudolph and Little Rudolph are also available at the Coupon Shop! For 100 Coupons each you’ll get them as permanent items with SP+6 as stats.

Due to the positive resonance, the ultra rare Officer and Tamer Capsules are still in the game until December 15th - use this opportunity!

I just hope they don't mess up the weapons like they used to do with pretty much every patch in 2009.

Air Gun is weak and is going to be really underused, though nothing unexpected.
Homing Rifle is OPish, can't wait to see what happens with the people who have +8 perm tops, we also get 7 day copies of all the weapons as well as the shop versions I think, dunno about Fumbi.

Spy Dagger is the reason I'll stop playing anyways seeing how much of a drag it is to counter it in SO matches.

All in all, it pretty much depends on how they implement it and if they put the stuff in the fumbi shop.
I think it's safe to assume we can expect a ton of bugs since they are implementing a whole new system, and 3 new weapons.

So uh, how can an event that runs for 7 days actually, be 2 weeks long?
Unless they gives us 2x7days or just let us use for the 7 days and then we're like 10 days without them until further implementation.
Might be a typo though.

Last i heard the homing rifle required about 55 or 60 rounds to down somebody, Pretty much a clip and a half. The damage is in the shit because of the homing. But Spy dagger looks like fun and the air cannon is just a non-sniper cannonade with limited ammo.

All i want to know is how the buff system works. Timed? Permanent till you die? or ALL game?

Off Topic: About time we got a new melee weapon. Sick of seeing people with PS SB and CS equipped.

Edit: Before the server went down, found these bugs/changes.
1. All friends showed up online and as a striped pro.
2. Random people on block list.
3. Combi list wiped.
4. Shadow texture on character.
5. Coin system only showing up as 6 coins for the event.
6. No 7 day weapons from the event.
7. Key ring on the Tamer set pants have been added(and looks horrible, imo).

I think that was it, other the a Russian GM spamming the English server with other Russians from the constant server disconnects.

My only question is how will the Buff Coin system have an impact on the running S5 Tournaments? Whats the big advantage/disadvantage of that system? How much is the hp/sp bonus?


Implementing this system now could probably be one Step closer into the DEATH OF S4 LEAGUE.

Okay, let's see:

Cons
- All servers disconnecting like crap, can't play a 10 minute game
- No 7day weapons
- Got like 3 hacking trials when trying to use the buff system
- Didn't get my 100 coins but that's just me I think.
- Probably a maintenance tomorrow, we already had 2 today, one to implement and the other to fix NOTHING except bug more stuff.
- DISCONNECTS, DISCONNECTS EVERYWHERE, ALL SERVERS CRASHING FROM THE LIST, EVEN THE NON-POPULATED RUSSIAN ONE IS CRASHING.

- Friend list says everyone you have is online, you can PM them, and they're all lvl 48.
- Did I mention disconnects? I guess I didn't
- Servers crash every 10 minutes


Pros
- Buff System is there, doesn't give a hacking trial to everyone though, haven't checked if it works though, and I doubt I will unless I somehow hack the system and make the games 5 minutes each.
- Combi lists are fully deleted! If you had lock slots, you can say good bye to them!
- Better graphics, better FPS, shadows.

All in all, 5/10, because of the graphics, at least for me. Also these aren't any "omg new updated pro engine" graphics, these are PRE-FUCKING-PATCH 10 GRAPHICS.

If it weren't for that, pretty much 0/10 since the game is unplayable. At least it's easier on the CPU and better to look at.

EDIT: Oh and they fixed the Tamer set so the pants display the keychain and they made the shirt capelike or so, so it shows less skin =(
Also, my weekly missions got reset, so props to everyone who did their missions yesterday.

Still waiting for them to implement the Grenade Gun :V

Air gun may seem weak, but in the right hands, its annoying as hell. Homing Rifle is really the only weapon that worries me alittle, since most people over at KRS4 would just camp and shoot with it. If they're doing it how it was over there, we'll have the weapons to test at +5 for 7 days. They also gave everyone a +6 top to test the weapons at +11. Buff coin system is decent. the HP bonus is only +5 HP and its timed, same with the SP bonus, so i don't think its too gamebreaking.

OMG, so my 500/50 combi, got deleted?!

Mhhh.. coins.. on KrS4 they're purchasable with coupons... Alaplaya wants to get more money obviously. At least they did it like korea S4 that insta spawn is just available in BR/DM. If buffs aren't buggy as in KrS4, people can all farm exp now :(
