Strategy Guide: Neden v.2

Summary
Hello everyone, Reiki here, and I'm going to teach you all of the neat things about the map Neden version 2! Neden is a large area full of warehouses and is commonly seen as the outskirts of the "City", but nobody really knows the name of it (yet). We'll just call it eSper City for right now! Neden v.2 shares qualities from both Neden v.1 and v.3. In v.3, the map is vaguely similar to each other and the spawn points are roughly in the same region as everyone else while Neden v.1 will port you all over the place in a given area. In Neden v.2, there are only two main spawn points between each team.

Description
Neden v.2 is a warehouse storage district. On the Alpha Team's Side (from an aerial view, the northern side of the map), there's a large brick wall with an assortment of boxes about it. This is the spawn point. Behind that wall is the energy boundaries that mark offlimits. Going forward a few paces is an open area. There's no cover at all here, just flat lands until you reach the warehouse which is still a couple of paces. To the left, going towards the warehouse, is stack of cargo boxes that allow you to scale a very tall brick wall connected to the warehouse. This is a spawn point. To the right is an alleyway leading past a pit and into the HQ of your enemy.  From the Alpha side and Beta side, there's only one entrance into the warehouse which takes up a gigantic chunk of the map. There are two levels and a ramp that leads from the ground floor all the way to the roof. Inside are an assortment of boxes and a ramp that also leads to the second floor. On the far side is a single door leading into the base. On the left is a little corridor which has a wide open window you can jump to to go to a sewer section.

In the beta side, there's a little plateau surrounded by walls. This is a spawn point. Just above is a little roof, which leads people to believe it's a storage space for machinery or supplies. You go down the stairs and there are boxes and little platforms to either side with boxes and fences surrounding it. To the left going away from the plateau is a fence which can obstruct your path, but can be shot through. From then on is flat land and leaves you naked. Going forward a bit more leads to a small building with a roof. A water tower is on there, but besides that, there's not much else. You have a clear view of the roof of the giant warehouse from that roof.

Strategy

The warehouse is key. Controlling the warehouse and if they can get through it controls the whole traffic of the game. It takes up a humongous part of the map for being such a cluttered space and being able to control who uses it is important. Also, the warehouse is at the forefront of everyone's HQ limits. You can easily launch group attacks if you cooperate and take over the base. Be aware that people can sneak up from the top and route you from behind.

Another thing. Stay out of sight. This map is a sniper's map. There are lots of places where snipers can use to their advantage. If you have the Flying skill or the Block skill, you can set up a minibase with a Sentry Gun and a Railgun on the roof of the Beta Side building, the one with the water tower. You can take out attackers that come over the roof or along the sewer. From the Beta Side area as well, you can get onto that storage area's roof and use flying to snipe from above. If two people are up there, it's a constant sniping barrage that keeps most attackers at bay.

Beta Side has a strong advantage in the first round with having the most defensive area. However, if Alpha Team's side has anything, it's positioning. If you're on the Alpha side, don't go picking a fight alone. Bunker in and let them come to you. You don't want to go into Beta Side's base because their spawn points allow them to attack from angles you can't fire at. It's best to stay cool and wait for someone to make the first move. If you think your team can take them, or there aren't a lot of snipers, rush in with EVERYONE. Attack from all sides. The one problem with Beta side is its strength, it's a turtle. Turtles can't see their blind spots fast enough to react. If they turtle, break their shell by hiding in ditches and sewers, attack all at the same time and wipe them out with hit and run tactics.

Skills that are useful

Flying - Flying is very useful here for aerial sniping and manueverability.

Block - It's also very useful here for setting up choke points and limiting options. Blocking off a section of the warehouse restricts a large chunk of options the enemy team can do.

Invisible - The king of this map. You want to be extra covert and sneak away on this map. There are so many places to hide. Invisible just makes it all the more easier.

Weapons that are useful

Railgun - The ultimate sniper weapon. Its high gravity fire may have a split second delay, but one good hit from this thing will put someone away for good.

Counter Sword - It's very useful because of its aerial attack. It's not just an attacking weapon, it can get you to places on the other side that you couldn't have done on your own as well as killing people really really fast.

Revolver - Gun types like sub-machine guns, Heavy Machine Gun,  and Semi are good, but the Revolver is very good here because you can constrict people to small spaces and beat them with the sheer ferocity of the Revolver's knockback ability. Keep that in mind.

Sentry Gun - This critter can be a real big pain. Not only can it fire when you're not around, it can hide around things you install are high alert areas. If it kills someone, great, if it dies, even better! You know where the enemy is and can anticipate their attacks.

Plasma Sword - The best melee weapon to abuse the lack of movement in most places is the plasma sword. It'll take care of snipers in a second and you can move its sprint attack, Silent Dash, around so you can avoid enemy fire.
