Hello everyone, Reiki here

This is a quick notice to all members that we are accepting applicants to be on our staff. This is a great responsibility and is only offered to those with high etiquette and work ethic. We have a lot of projects that need managing, a lot of events we'd like to hold, but we do not have the people who are willing to do the work to do them.

If you are interested in either of the following positions, please be sure to include a list of references (resume,places you've worked, etc) and detailed explanation as to why you want the position. As noted, this is a volunteer position and does not mean payment. I reserve the right to not hire you if I see fit.

I am also giving you a head's up on the job projects. Job projects will be my means of assessing your ability and determination to land a position at our website. It's important that I know you're committed and that you're dependable.

So for each position, you'll need to complete this project. if you have multiple positions you want, I will consider dropping it or ask you to do both/all at my own discretion.

Moderators - One month trial period on one forum as a trial moderator.

Reporters - You must take a current event in S4 and write an article. Must be creative and well-written, check for errors in spelling.

Event Moderators - Develop a proposal for an event that you would like to do. Be detailed: Where it will be held, the projected impact group, projected amount of users, and length of the event.

Advertisement Moderators - You must develop an advertisement plan. How will you promote S4 Source and what we have to offer? How will you market and communicate our mission to other groups and encourage prosperity as well as positivity.

IPB/HTML Coder - Must give an example or project that has been done to display competence in either field.

Translators - Take the most recent article on our main page and translate it into the language of your choice.

I'm willing to take on more positions if you need me to. :V I can help with really all of those except for the translating (since I'm not that pro just yet). Also, I can ask one of my good friends from high school if he's willing to help out sometimes with the website coding.

All we require is that you send us the following information in the form of a PM:

- Your Name (real name or forum name, your choice)
- Position(s) of interest
- Why you would be best fit for the job(s) (If you are interested in applying for more then one position, you must explain why for EACH position)
- References (If you have some past experiences, it would be great to tell us now; major plus for moderators/reporters)
- Anything else that you would like us to know (If you think that you have some special skills or talents, let us know. It might enhance your application)

You will have to PM Reiki with the information. For references, you may include your resume and/or person references IN the message. Please try to make formal explanations. We don't expect you to write a 5 page essay, but a paragraph or 2 would be best. It shows that you know how to showcase yourself professionally.

Am willing to become a Reporter. It's about time we get the AP and PMANG updates in Portuguese here, especialy with so many Portuguese speaking people on the forum. Especialy because Overwin has been so absent for a while now.
I can also just report the news in English.

I have not done these positions elsewhere, but I do have highly developed lingustic skills both in English and Portuguese (and a bit in Spanish and French, but I better not do those).

anything else: i applied to help out as a judge quite a while back but i didn't get too much help/support about what to do from noctis. since then i quit s4 and more or less gave up on becoming a judge. figured i'd give it another shot since you're asking for some volunteers.

i know this isn't the most formal of ways to ask but, well, i'm only asking to help as a judge. although i'd probably include more if i knew how to pm.

If you're just applying to be a judge, here is the trick. You need a senior judge to teach you the ropes. I'd suggest Frailty.- or Prostitute, both are semi-easy to reach and often work alone. Once you're in, we have 3 different branches (one of which is tournament organizing, which is headed up by iNsp and requires a little more).

I'll accept judge applications in this thread, but you need to find a judge that can work with you.

I don't know why I need to clarify, but I will. You need to ask me for that information or I will not give it out. If you're using firefox, it won't automatically pop up a window on your AIM, MSN, YAHOO etc so use another browser or just do it the long way.
