Summer Season Round 1 Brackets

The following is the bracket of teams in our tournament as of the 26th of July, 2010 and the pairings for the following tournaments. Please leave feedback or discuss the tournament. in the S4 Source Tournament Discussion Thread.

===================Pro League=====================

1. Swiss Elimination Rules - Winner is two out of three in a Double Elimination bracket.
2. Each match must be scheduled and posted in its own Matchmaker thread before the weekend begins. If any problems arise when scheduling a match a judge will direct the teams in what to do.
3. Any clothing exceeding PEN stats is strictly prohibited.
  • Any combination of items or lack there of that reach the cap is fine. As long as the total does not exceed PEN limits.
  • If you intend to switch characters during a match, make sure a judge is aware of your setup so no surprises are done.
  • Caught offenders will get a penalty against their team.
  • In addition to this, players can only have:
    +3 Crit Defense Hair Max
    +4 Defense vs All Weapons Pants Max
    +3 Attack For All Weapons Shirt Max
    +4 HP Gloves/Shoes Max (+8 HP in total)
    +6 SP Accessories/Face Max (+12 SP in total)
    +1 Attack Weapons Max

4. A team is only allowed 2 installation weapons slots at any given time.
5. The mode for this tournament is Touchdown. 20 minute matches, 5 versus 5, balance off.
6. A judge must be present during your match. Judges randomly choose the maps that are played that round.
7. Hacker type weapons: Mind Energy and Mind Shock - Prohibited

===================Rookie League================

4. Hacker type weapons: Mind Energy and Mind Shock - Prohibited
5. A team is only allowed 2 installation weapons slots at any given time.

2. Each match must be scheduled and posted in its own Matchmaker thread before the weekend begins. If any problems arise when scheduling a match a judge will direct the teams in what to do.
3. No clothes, no weapons above +1, and no special equipment are allowed (eSper Chips, Space Bunny, etc).
4. Hacker type weapons: Mind Energy and Mind Shock - Prohibited
5. A team is only allowed 2 installation weapons slots at any given time.
6. Mode for the tournament is Touchdown. 20 minute matches, 5 versus 5, balance off.
7. Judges are not required for these matches but you may ask for one.

=========Pro League and Rookie League: QP this round=========

First - 24 QP
Second - 20 QP
Third - 17 QP
Fourth - 14 QP
Fifth & Sixth - 12 QP
Seventh & Eighth - 10 QP
Ninth through Twelfth - 8 QP
Thirteenth through Sixteenth - 6 QP
Seventeenth through Twenty-fourth - 5 QP
Everyone else - 4 QP

SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT WARNING

NOTE**: Forfeits for not responding to your match thread or forced DQ's for not showing up will deduct 4 QP's. Normal forfeits (If you notify the opposing team or a judge) will not deduct QP's.

====================Judges schedule=================

In order to hold a match, you need a judge. Once a time is agreed upon, a judge may or may not take your match. Please PM or whisper a judge about your match to confirm that you will have one.

Note: We are enforcing the friday rule. Your match MUST be scheduled by Friday night, 11:59 PM PST . If your team does not, you will receive a penalty or be disqualified. Tournament System Rules and Regulations

Please use your match threads in order schedule the match. Once a time is agreed upon a judge will take your match and give you the maps.

===============Summary for Tournament Participants===============

1. Each monthly tournament is worth qualifier points. Qualifier points are used to get to the season's semi-final tournament. The Semi-Finals is always at the end of the 3rd tournament.

2. Prizes
We award our players for their hard work. In the finals, we will be handing out Alaplaya Points for the top finishers. The Quarter Finals, again, are invitationals and only the teams that have been playing so far will be allowed to play in it. If you win, here's what you get.

1st Prize: Each of the 5 players will receive 20,000 AP.

2nd Prize: Each of the 5 players will receive 10,000 AP.

3rd Prize: Each of the 5 players will receive 5,000 AP.

Each monthly tournament's 1st place winner receives 5,000 AP.

3. Substitutes do not get AP or players in the team's club do not get AP aside from the active members.

Misc.
4. Rankings for the teams within our league are saved throughout the year. They are cleared the next year.

5. Each match will be livestreamed on www.livestream.com/channels5 and saved for future viewing. If you do not want to have your match livestreamed, please tell your judge to kindly not stream.
