Just in case people don't already know (Because some don't @_@)

Here's a quick guide to getting onto S5's IRC channel.

Using mIRC, Chatzilla, or Trillian helps, each is its own type of client for IRC.

Enter the server irc.rizon.net:6666 in your clients server section.

Once connected to IRC Rizon, goto the connect section or use your status window to connect to the channel #s4.

(command in the status window is /join #s4)

Now any newcomers to IRC know what to do.

Kou, this is a guide. I don't think it needs to be in the S5 news section, let alone a sticky of it.

However, I understand that it is necessary for people to meet over IRC and whatnot so keep it for now. After maybe a week or two, please move it to the approved guides section as a sticky.

A bit of an update on the IRC channel for S4:

Today, there were a few commands added, but one useful command that deserves noting is the !findign command.

By logging into the S4 IRC channel, you can also add in your in game name (IGN) so it's perfectly accessible for everyone who uses IRC. If you have a lot of friends in the IRC channel or are just too shy to place your contact information on our forums, I suggest doing so on IRC.

You do so by typing the following: !addign (Your IGN, in exact spelling and punctuation)

Now, every time someone wants to look up your in game info, they write your IRC name in the findign command. Here's an example: !findign Riven

It'll then show all known names I use for EU S4.

IRC es un como un chat, como un messenger pero varias personas pueden conversar y no hace falta registro ni nada por el estilo. Igualmente trata de hablar ingles, no español :X

Yeah, the IRC is still being used, but I'm fairly sure not very many people in it will actually play S4 with ya; there's a lot of veterans from the old times in there though. :V
