Subject: Alaplaya gains licensing of NA S4. S4 Source to return covering EU.

Hello everyone, Reiki here.

Some would not have suspected that this would happen, but as it has, I am proud to announce that the North American License has now been placed in the hands of Alaplaya games. This is an extraordinary event as one publisher holds the licenses for most of the Western world. All players from San Francisco to Dublin will be playing together in a league all of its own.

Surprisingly, this move by Neowiz to provide the license for NA is a strictly positive move. A few positives are approved advertisement to NA, no account transfers or resets necessary, and a new server located in North America, all content is available for NA players

And that's it! With this, North American players can easily connect to EU or NA, giving these new S4 Leaguers some attention. Don't be discouraged! New and old players now have reason to rejoice as S4 League continues to spread world wide. As such, we will remove North America as separation of EU.

What does that mean?

It means that S4 Source will now pick up where we left off and continue covering EU based news. We will try to bring you the latest news on the front page, but likely a day after to respect the publishers. This is a very bold move for us. Years before, an incident lead to S5 discontinuing ANY coverage of EU news. Only recently have we been more active with Alaplaya through Versus. With this move, we hope to take one step in representing North America and one big step for representing S4 Source.
