edit (from ipod) : The key doesn't physically stick, and no extra pressure is needed to
actually press the key down. So dirtiness us a non-issue.

It presses down + releases normally, but I have to hold it down for it to
type, and after releasing, the key returns to rest position normally, but still insists on "sticking" electronically.

And yeah, they'll start functioning normally at random times, then revert.

And #2 there are times where they don't type at all.

I really do not know what to say... Even though I feel that this is a hardware problem, you can try to see if there is even a driver for a keyboard, but I doubt that helps at all, but who knows? Sadly, keyboard replacement seem to be the likely solution. Since someone mentioned a laptop keyboard, I am guessing that the contacts underneath the keys are worn.

Well, I bound my side mouse keys to a and s, so now I can type without sounding like someone who's retarded/has a speech impediment, but it doesn't work ingame. (Works while typing ingame though).

Guess I'll have to get a new keyboard eventually.
