Guild Wars had a cash shop too. It was mostly just cosmetic stuff.

What's new is that they're throwin in some PvE consumables now, of the sort you see in like free-to-play games like a lil' more XP for like the next hour and stuff. Also people can sell the cash shop currency (gems) to people for ingame currency (gold). The costumes they sold were just in town clothes that you couldn't use in combat. I also bought some dye sets.

Barf, sorry for the late post in here, kinda forgot about this topic... :confused:

Either way, I found the combat, the events and the "GW2 world" itself pretty awesome and well done (it's still in Beta), the only thing that I found becoming dull was PvPing in the WvWvW servers for longer periods of time.

As for the cashshop, you buy the game and u will never have to buy anything again (excluding expansions obviously). Unlike S4L, u don't have to buy your way to the top, the cashshop just includes some useful items that you can get with ingame gold too and a few extra cosmetic items, like costumes.

That's about it, can't wait for the next Beta event!
