No, because then that's 2-3 years worth of posts to sift through for the sole reason of giving you eP. That also encourages you not to do anything in the future, rather than just hanging on the earnings of the past. It's up for debate, but I am against it.

@Cloud: You will only be nominated for 1 SS or video per week (month if we need to do some balancing). If you include video, it's debatable, but when it goes to the people responsible for managing it, the amount you earn will not be unnecessarily huge.

I say this because we do want people to earn their eP by doing positive things for the site. I want people to purchase these things; kind of making it an interactive side job by helping us. At a job, I would not pay you for doing unnecessary amounts of work and I would not pay you for work you did before I hired you.

I don't know Reiki, because there are plenty of past posts/threads that are worthy of being nominated. Sure it'll be a lot of work on our part, but if we get the community to contribute their nominations in our future nominations thread, it'll make the process easier. And besides, we could always limit the amount of points a person receives for past posts/threads so they won't be living off of their old work for a while.

Posted an alpha testing shop. You are also allowed to take 1 guide/video/fanart pic from the past and 3 posts from the past and submit them to get some start-up eP.

We will also be holding more events on the forums to give out eP.

In the future, people who attend S4 Source rooms in S4 league (Training rooms, mission rooms, or just fun rooms) get 1 eP.

Are we allowed to give our ePs to other people? Say if I have some ePs and I have no idea what to do with it, I'll give some to NoctiS then he'll have enough ePs and use it for our clan. Or would that be not allowed?

We'll be rolling out more items that will make it worth having eP. Remember that we're still in the testing stages of this.

But there are other ways of getting eP such as participating in events and doing certain things around S5. Buying eP is just a way of showing that you love us. :)

I can understand where people may think we're trying to hit you up for cash, but we're very transparent. All the money we receive goes towards improving the site and paying costs to keep it going.

If you hadn't noticed, we also allow you to get eP various ways, even a chance to win one free just for having a friend recommend a post you did this week.

How do you get nominations? I mean do we have to PM you or a mod? Id figure if somebody posting something decent, and people thought they should get ep for it, just put a +1eP at the bottom of their post. With x amount of those posts, that person would get the eP. Or just add an eP button under our avi's. That was you dont ahve to navigate away from what you are looking at to submit nominations. Just have a fill out form pop up in front of whatever you are currently looking at.

Just a note to everyone: We'll be taking eP out of an Alpha stage soon. I think its worked well, but it needs more work, which we intend to do.

That might require features which also require money so that could take time. There are a few things I'd like to do, but I could always use the help of our community. If you've a dollar or two to spare, any little bit helps in going towards improvements for our group of websites (One that's coming soon). In the mix, you get eP.
