But if it's going to be of any success, I'm going to start off with a basic prologue. I'm going to ask for input here as I begin to develop plots and characters. Alternatively, if you wish to ask for your character to be in the story, I am absolutely fine with it as well, so long as you can describe the character in detail.

The story follows the life of Izumi Hyōka (泉 氷華), an eSper. Her father, Hinamori Motoharu (雛森 元春) being an S4 league professional who not only came out tops in several one-on-one competitions but also lead clans and teams to victory. He has now resigned from his job as an S4 League player and spends his time maintaining the S4 League systems. Her mother, Izumi Rin (泉 リン) was an eSper as well, but resigned to being a housewife after getting "her fill of the action". With pressure from her parents, Hyōka has entered an academy recommended by her father, the Blue Ridge eSper Academy. From there, she will become one of the best-known eSpers among the S4 league...
Character Biographies will come soon.
Explaining the S4 league world and (a very small bit) about the world outside it:

The world in which this story takes place is set quite far into the future, where automobiles are replaced by personal, pods powered by magnets which ferry their owners (and other guests) from one place to another. The expansion of humans has just taken to outer space, although this will only be touched lightly in the story. S4, or rather, "Stylish eSper Shooting Sports", is a sport which branches off into a few categories: Death Match, Touch Down, Chaser, Blast and Glide. The sport is played in games, also known as matches. Matches take place in cyber-worlds, where the system is maintained by people such as Hinamori Motoharu. However, as the system is far too complex and too big, the main processors are located in outer space. As such, there are times where these workers can not see their family for weeks at a time as they may have to physically repair the system.
In regular matches, also known as "pub games", which randomly places individuals playing around the world in teams and then pits them against each other. The teams are usually separated into "Alpha" and "Beta" teams, although this can be changed. There are a few modes where this does not apply. In pub matches, eSpers are judged solely by the points they score. In competitions and exams, eSpers will be in pre-determined teams and will be judged by both their style and their score, so doing things both practically and aesthetically is important.
In any match, the participating eSpers are given a wristlet showing two values, HP and SP. HP defines how much damage an eSper can take to his or her cyber-body before he or she is "Dominated". Domination is a process similar to dying where the eSper is forced out of the cyber-body due to damage. The cyber-body will then regenerate in a set area, known as the "spawn area". This process takes approximately five seconds, but is usually lengthened to seven for balancing purposes. There is only one known way to restore HP. SP is used for interacting with most objects and using many features in the game. The most common examples is when using a "Skill" brought into the match, or using the walls to propel yourself, or even activating a "running" mode where eSpers can move their cyber-bodies faster than outside the cyber-worlds. SP constantly regenerates when not in use. ESpers on the same team may view each other's HP and SP through a hologram visible only to them, which is located conveniently on the eSper's back.
The modes
Death Match is the simplest game mode of all S4. All you need to do is dominate the opponent and not get yourself dominated. Most eSpers prefer to test new things, such as weapon combinations, in a Death Match.
In a Death Match, points are earned by healing, dominating or assisting a teammate in dominating an opponent.
Touch Down is, by far, the most popular mode in S4. Instead of focusing on dominating all opponents, the focus is on bringing an object to a set point, known as the goal. The goal is located near the opposing team's spawn area.

Note: This fanfiction will include Taejo, Ein, Kitsch and Mr. Monk from the Arcade mode. But most of these characters will not show till much later.
And that's what I have so far.
Now for your input.
