This is a notice regarding the update that took place during the temporary maintanance

The patch will be automatically downloadd when you log on and following contents will be applied.

S4 League Updated Contents

1. New Weapon Vital Shock
-Melee weapon vital shock has been added
-It can only be obtained through license for now

2. New Fumbishop Item
-Granade Guns can be purchased in Fumbishops
-Color will remain the same and is unchangeable. Only the stat modifier will be applied

3. 30 % increase for pens that are obtained in death matches

4. Glitch repairs
-The glitch that enabled players to snap out of stuns by swaping to secondary weapons has been fixed
-the glitch that enabled players to bypass the fire rate delay by activating/deactivating the shield is now fixed.

Actually, they are not in. The weapons here are called vital shock and are not the forkblades.

Also, I'll post the rules here, but please don't just post pictures. If you want to add pictures, send me a PM, but don't just post in here. The reason is that this is a resource for people that can't read the updates or want to review what's been updated, but if it's all cluttered, it makes it very difficult to do that. That's why I want atleast a majority of posts to be in the proper format.

On their site if you  know the green box that u click that give u money right above it their a new box i clciekd it and their was liek this contest they were having, like u click the go button and depdns if u get "o" or "x" and how many u get money i got 10k.

The new weapon [Hand Gun] will be updated and come into play as a license test reward. This new weapon is like a revolver but faster firing rate. Also when you equip this, the weapon is light weighted and therefore you move and sprint faster than using normal weaponry.

Lastly the new weapon sentinel and the skill detect will be out in the store for sales. Also the pumbi has the sentinel in stock.

It was the shortest GM talk I've seen and yea, this is all of it. Just one news.. well 2 >.>

Update topic: Events

I decided not to put a time on this one. Anyway, up until the sixth, there is a new event coming to Korean S4. This is a wonderful little event that can earn you big bucks so listen up. It's the pumbi slot machine event and it works a lot like a slot machine. You get pumbi coins for doing certain things and here's what they are:

1 coin for signing into S4.

1 coin for using the pumbi shop in S4

1 coin for participating in a touchdown match

1 coin for participating in a team deathmatch match

You can only earn 1 coin from that genre per day. However, the prizes are worth it. If you get four, you get some random miscellaneous prize like 10,000 won or a stack of MP3 players ( But you need to live there ;-;) buuuuut it's very simple to rack up dough.

There are four boxes. When you click a prize you want to get, you move down to pull on the go button to spin the slots. You win the prize if you get all O's, but you lose if you get an X. Simple enough. Here's the charts
No O's (or all X's) = 100 Pen

1 O = 1,000 Pen

2 O = 3,000 Pen

There's also another event that's going on, but I don't know how to participate, sorries!

Update topic: GM Talk and Update

Good morning/afternoon everybody, Reiki here! I hope everyone is doing well today. I just want to remind you that as of now we're going to be working on two update logs. One is going to be S4 League Korea and S4 League Europe. Hopefully we'll grab all the content we can and present it for you, fast and correct as always. Which brings us to the order of business today!

KR S4 League News
Today marks the end of the SuperSonic S4 League Tournament in Korea and if you have the chance, you should check out the footage for the match because I can net you'll learn plenty from it!

Also too, there was a new GM Talk and from the pictures alone, we can see that the Granade Gun will start getting tweaked. Seems they figured out the little nightmare was very broken so they're going to make it so that the damage from the explosion (if you're close enough) will hit you too! That'll make granade guns a little more tricky to use, but I'm sure enthusiasts like Akaru XD will find a way to use it.

Also, different colored clothes will now be purchaseable instead of just in the Pumpi Shop. It's not known yet if they will be adding more colors that are only available in the Pumpi Shop or not, but we at S4source/AT will figure that out (IE. Paul is being nice enough to translate the GM Talk). Sooo, we'll find out soon.


EU S4 News
As some of you may know, there were plans of S4 League Euro having a pwipe. That is still a possibility. However, they are doing what they can to make up for the temporary setback. According to Alaplaya's S4 League mainsite, they will be donating 5,000 Pen to every account for just playing one match a day. This is equivalent to our usual 1,000 PEN event that has been going on in the Korean version. However, no browser is needed. Due to a few mistakes, Alaplaya released the game with 10 hour free trials of the Plasma Sword, Sub-Machine Guns, And HP Mastery skill. These items, being temporary, would leave the economy crippled because the players would have a lack of weaponry or money to do as they please.

As a personal commentary, I commend Alaplaya for listening to our pleas about the money issue. It may seem like it's a lot to give up per day, but as we've all noticed, people can go through PEN very easily, and that is especially true for new players. This will more than make up for the lack of PEN that the rewards and starting PEN amount was lacking for by my calculations.

Thank you everyone for attending and supporting EU S4 for the past couple of months. I understand that some people are being hostile, but still keep that spirit we got from the Koreans and show good sportsmanship. Say your Gg's and NJ's, plox.  *thumbsup* Keep it up, everyone, we'll continue to support S4 worldwide! So, now you know the score; get out there and show me your S4!

The new shop system will be enabled, where custom colored clothes will be on sale, FOR CASH. This system does not concern the English community until it implies in the EU I assume.

The grenade gun will be fixed to have the user take the damage as well when they are in the area of effect of the explosion. Seems like before where you didn?t take damage from it you can just run up to the opponent and spam it.

Also the maps that aren?t used and played commonly by users will come up in missions, somewhat forcing you to play the maps. But the amount of times that must be played to finish the mission is reduced by 1.

Hello everyone,

This is Reiki telling you all that EU S4's live server is experiencing downtime. None of the Leagues are open for people to use. Please keep in mind that it's early in the morning in Berlin time and probably there are no mods or GMs for Alaplaya online at this time. Please be patient as they fix the technical difficulties that are happening with the Live Server.

Dear S4 League Players,

It appears the game has been successfully updated by Alaplaya Staff but unfortunately many players are having an error when they try to enter the room. The problem would be *Connection To Server Terminated*. If so you happen to get this error, I do not have a solution to this matter but if you do please do share with the community. We will appreciate your help.

Note: This notice is just from knowing that 2hrs have past long gone. So its updated. Alaplaya didnt say it was complete but when they mentioned the 2hrs maintence notice on their forums we know it was done since it was only 2hrs and when you opened the game it started patching ^^

Hello everyone, Reiki here with new news on S4. According to this, KR S4 League will be experiencing some downtime. If you plan to play between 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST or 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST, you won't be able to. This is probably to add in the fixes from the GM talk.

Also, it seems we're having another guild wars tournament on KR S4. If you're in a club, it's around that time you should shoot for the top score. The people with the highest score get a custom club insignia for themselves for good. If you're not in a club or known someone who is in a club, don't fret, just cheer your favorite korean club on! Anyway, that's all for now. You know the score; get out there and show me your S4!

Subject: KR S4 update and patches

Hello everyone, Reiki here.

Small patch news. It seems that the fixes for the Granade gun have gone under way. Better yet, the Handgun is now open for buying. Players can now spend 33,000 to buy this lovely new weapon to use. The vital shock is still not open for buying yet. However, we have hopes it'll come out soon with a new weapon and hopefully some more new content! Also too, most of the GM talk features are included such as missions now encouraging you to play different maps.

So, now you know the score. Get out there; show me your S4!
