Unfinished...
Yo Yo! Wizpig here sitting at his Kool Aid stand to share some tips on how to use the Cannonade. Today the servings are free, so enjoy the taste of this baby while it lasts. Be sure to leave a comment and share your opinions or experiences. These comments will only help to improve my guide.
The Cannonade
A very large buster cannon attached to your arm. Chargeable. It can fire a laser that, if it hits a surface, will cause a spherical or dome-shaped explosion, hitting all objects and players within range.
Cannon Specs
Reload time: High
Spread: Very High (Blast Radius | Spherical Spread)
Ammo amount: Low
Damage: High (15 uncharged, 50 critical uncharged) (45 charged, 90 critical charged) Can sometimes one hit kill (details given further into the guide)
From S4source.com
Note: The damage info is not complete. Cannon has 3 different types of damage ratings.
For example
Uncharged
Low: 15
medium: 30
High (Crit): 45
Although I think I've seen an uncharged shot do 50 so I am not entirely sure about the damage itself.
Additional Info
- The Cannonade has a special shot (almost like an auto aim) for when shooting people wall sniping as you will see your bullet curve towards them. If the shot is at head level it will auto crit.
- It is very hard to obtain points using this weapon effectively without AP if you teamates are very good.
- Cannonade is not easy to switch out of. (Without shield)
- Cannonade is very hard to use offensively in wide maps unlike rail gun.
- Has a shorter full capacity charge up time than the rail gun.

Why use the Cannonade?
The Cannonade is a weapon that forces resets in stages like station 2 and is good for defense in places like station 1. It is mostly a support type of weapon that is best used in a team perspective. If used well, the cannonade can help your team easily get over the disadvantage of damage pity as it disorients the opposite team and does not rely on damage to be used efficiently. Most importantly the cannonade can waste or buy time.
Pros:
- very efficient in supporting
- able to take on 2 jobs at once.
- AoE
- Massive Push
- High damage
- Breaks objects with ease
Cons:
- Limited Clip
- Not a guaranteed 1hko
- Slow movement
- Only weapon that can currently get you banned
- awkward misses
- Primary semi rifle target.
How to use the Cannonade
Basics:
The Cannonade is best used with skills such as Flying because it is always better to get the higher ground to obtain a more useful Aoe radius if you miss. It is important to remember is that you are most likely going to catch the attention of those you snipe, causing a lot of pressure to be put on you (respect goes to my fellow cannonaders because we to have the highest semi bullet focus rate).
You will need a wall to fall back for cover as one shot of your cannon means 2 rounds of semi rifles or all snipers to target you. Nevertheless don't be scared to take damage. Never ever cannon out in the open unless you know what you are doing, as it is a very hard weapon to switch out of and you will most likely find yourself in the situation where you will be fighting against a smg or revolver with your cannon. This would not be so bad if it didn't have such poor mobility.

How To Use The Cannonade
(Advanced)
SET 1
Skill:Fly
Weapons:
HMG
Cannonade
Sentry
This used to be my favorite set, not only because you can control the whole field with it but because you become the ultimate defense and with good aim, the ultimate support. You will not get much if any recognition for it but you know when you are the cause for the goals being scored. You have control of the match and players will seek to kill you first. This set also gives you the most options to help out your teammates depending on how the match is going so you wont feel useless and out of place no matter what game you join.
SET 2
Skill: Shield
Weapons:
Cannon
Cs/Hg
Rev
This is my current set, I use this set when I do not need to gain any high ground. It is much quicker than the previous sets if you know how to shield cancel with means you can pick off more enemies in one rush. The advantage to having the shield is that since you are not running much you can help out your team by tanking a few bullets and then diving in with a CS or shooting them down with Revolver. You also have sniping and semi sniping protection which helps in maps like Colosseum and Station 2.
MAPS
Station 2:
At the very very beginning of the match, take out your cannonade (more effective with fly) while aiming to the most common wall jumps.
They are usually the ones to the far right or the wall in front of the goal area. If you are lucky, you will obtain critical and 2-4 people will be damaged and disoriented at the very beginning of each round. If you know people aren't taking the jumps and you have a sentry, then take that piece of machinery out and place on the one of the four hand ramps that are there on the stairway. Make sure to place it at the lower area so that it wont be semi sniped out, and automatically switch to cannonade after it.
If you don't have a sentry go past the wall by your goal at spawn and give 1 or 2 shots at the people by the lower stairs on the enemies side to push them into the line of fire.
With Flying:
when you have switched to cannon shoot the two windows on your side of the train and switch to HMG (or any rapid fire weapon). Make sure to not be sniped and fulfill your role of annihilating everyone. The sentry will kill people in the train and they wont even notice it if you placed it correctly. If someone gets a good run push them into the lasers with a critcal shot. They might think it's a 1hko but really it's not.
From here on note who takes position of the ball more often and as you are doing so, look to see if the enemy has taken the ball to the long way. If they have, switch immediately to Cannonade and shoot charged shots at the ball carriers feet to get a forced reset to feed your sentry. Make sure that your shot is at least in front and to the opposite side of where you want him to go.
If enemies take the stairs shoot them at the middle area of the stairs so that they get rocketed off. If they anchor, wait for them to reach the wall then shoot the anchored wall so they get pushed back and cannot go over it. Note that stopping anchors this way is way easier with wings.
The score and how offensive your team is will determine where you have to be on the field. Always start defensive, and if you don't get points, even though you kill everything in sight, move forward.
My rule of thumb is:
5th or 6th = offense/invader from behind
4th or 3rd = control midfield
2nd or 1st = defense.
The reasoning behind this is that cannonade gets more points if the enemy is rushing so if you are killing a lot with cannon and HMG that means that a lot of players are attacking thus you will have a higher score, in midfield your points will come from pushing away surprise anchorers. In offense they will come from killing defenders.
Remember:
- Predicted wall jumps are your best friend as you can easily land a critical when they do one.
- Anchor lines means easy kills
- You have a fast bridge breaking ability use that to kill bridge walkers.
This is the most played map and so it will have the longest guide.
Station 1:
I recommend the Shield Set.
This one is easy with cannon, use the walls for really fast shots and easy kills and for anti CSing. Prepare to pull out your rev to finish off people in this map as there are CSers at every corner. I recommend practicing airborne shots for this level to maximize your defensive potential. Once you are able to stop all the wall jumps towards your goal you will be near 1st place in points quite often. It is one of the few maps where it is easy to snipe in offense.
Use your shield to tank the Sentries.
Neden 3:
I recommend the Wings Set.
You need roof and middle control asap, I prefer putting the sentry at a high point in the corner by the main anchoring window to ward off the attention of my HMG.
Use the roof as a safe point and push people into the pit, to help out your teamates.
Highway:
N/A
I need people to play this with me way more, I have never touched this map apart from random joking around.
Old School:
I do not recommend Cannon here outside of a traveling tool. the push is too random and it might hinder your team's performance by breaking potential wall jumping objects.
Temple M:
No skill recommended.
This Map will allow you for easy offensive and defensive access. There is a catch though, the preferable sniping points are at the opposite end of the field! I recommend placing a sentry on your side of the map before going there to add to your fire power and to cover for your defensive mistakes. Once you are there you can help your teammates by punishing the rushers with some easy shots.
You want to be around the upper left and right gates at you enemy base.
Remember to switch sides to force the opposing team to waste time looking for you since they don't have access to the lazered paths. You can also help offensively with the ease of the blue lazered gate access points and you might be able to score as well.
The Cannonade will easily pick off anyone using the stairs or going by the upper middle roof top opening.
I recommend a semi rifle in your set for defending inside your base from a distance.
Colosseum:
The Shield skill will benefit you most here.
This map is the most semi rifle heavy map, I also recommend switching revolver with semi rifle and get a shield. As the ball runner goes for cover most people will try to shoot you. Since the semi rifle does so little damage, you can live long by using your shield like recoverable hp. It is better to go near the middle to be able to kill masses of people by breaking the floors. You can also shoot people in the bridge shelter by aiming for the feet. This map is pretty big so use your SP wisely.

Myths
Cannon Stacking:
This is a technique that is currently looked down upon and is currently banable. From my sources it is somehow done by charging and shooting on the same frame to enable yourself to do 2 shots at once.
Some people say you can do this with shield canceling but I have yet to experience this. As if you cancel your shot too fast with shield canceling it will take your bullet away and no thing will come out of your cannon. The shot that comes after does the same damage as a normal shot. No accuser has yet to confirm cannon stacking to me yet so I have no clue of the mechanics
1hko:
Cannonade can 1hko (1 hit KO or Kill) and I have done so on my wings. It is pretty rare but becomes much more common as you start regularly crit hitting your targets.
