I love how their treatment of self-inserts, as well as being able to give you nightmares one moment, then making you lol so hard at another.

self insert -- basically the writers continue to roleplay as scientists/whatever even outside of the individual stories

some of the SCPs are super creepypasta-tier nightmare fuel. Some of them are just funny. Seems p. self explanatory to me.

I've enjoyed the majority of the ones I've read. Reminds me of the Holders series, except... these are fairly well written, while a lot of the Holders' are just... bad.
