Side note: There is the 2nd tab on the mission window, which is the weekly mission and it looks like some missions will have a level limit. Also These missions are random, so you might have to try out all the objectives to figure em out and if you are successfully to meet the mission objective orange text will appear where the chat box is (for thing such that require more than once, it will inform you how many times you must repeat), and when you successfully finished the mission objective for all 3 of them, when you die there will be a box to the left saying you have done so. Missions are random so if it doesn't work best bet is try em all out or just post a pic of the mission page

For mission 5-3.. does just killing people count as offense points? Or do you need to score assists with the ball carrier for it to work?

Yes and no, if you kill people that is attacking the ball carrier then yes, if not no

Question: How are the rookie levels done now? I dont really understand the new rank system.

Same as usual I imagine.. this new system just prevents people from going YOU'RE A LEVEL 1 GTFO... you should be fine, but if you aren't, it shouldn't take you more than a few hours of gameplay to get to level 5 >.>

So for the missions that involve the 20 minute games, does that mean you have to play in the games for at least 20 minutes? I've been joining a lot of those games but the mission is not progressing.

Try playing 30 minute games. After I played those, it started to work.

For anything that says 20 minute games... you have to be there when they start (as in you can't just barge in a game and get your mission point). Thats my experience anyway.. If I remember correctly... TDM its 80 point matches and TD is 10 point matches minimal. Most of the time you end up playing an additional round because its hard to find games that haven't started yet unless you host...

^-- EDIT - This is confirmed NOT TRUE for weeklies as I can't get this to work... HOWEVER it still applies to mandatory missions

Uhh... are the mission lists the same? My 4-1 is more or less a 0/3, 20 minute thing I think.

For the mandatory sets (the first tab) the SETS are the same, but the placement however may not be. It sounds like your 4-1 is Reiki's 4-3.

More nitpicks about missions (YAY) (bleh update)

Whats known about weeklies....

1) "Weapon Training" missions are completely random and based off what you own. Obviously you can't do a counter-sword mission if you don't own one =P
2) "Weapon Training" missions do not receive points unless at least 5 people are on both sides in-game.
3) As with what Reiki said before, ITS STRONGLY ADVISABLE THAT YOU ENTER 30 MINUTE ROOMS. I have won countless 20min rooms joining prior to the game start and have not received anything.
4) Placement of these tests are even more random (and possibly differ from each player besides the "Weapon Training" missions which are definitely different).
