whew ok ready. Got bored so I fired up the old Photoshop and made this sig.

basically i just threw 4 layers ontop of eachother but i'll try breaking it down for you

On the first layer i used the gradient tool and created a black and red background.

Then I applied that onto a new layer, turned it into a grayscale , used a sumi-e filter( played with the settings until I liked it) and changed that layer to luminosity.

I applied that onto a new layer again and changed it to linear burn 10% opacity.

Then I applied that layer yet again used the liquify filter played around a bit and set that last layer on difference 100%

That's about all I did.

Edit: seems I did something else I don't remember. I didn't use just a sume-e filter that time but something else as well...
Trying to figure out what it was atm.

It appears that I first used a sprayed strokes filter and then I applied a sumi-e filter on that.

I love your sigs Xenedus. They all seem to have some type of similarity to them. I just cant quite figure it out. >.<; I would post a sig, but I dont even know how to make one. ;-; I noob. So I be critic :x

Btw Xenedus :o I have yet to see a different genre with your sigs. Like, you always do the badass ones. :x You are missing the cutesy ones. lol. Do you make anything of that kind?

Lol I normally don't do the "cutesy" type of sigs as they are normally not my cup of tea but if you want I can try my hand at it and see if I can whip you up a sig.

Try varying up the brushes and styles you use. Alot of your sigs use only the main render with brushes of paint splatters Try to use some effects on the main renders to spruce them up and try to vary your backgrounds a little more with some different brushes to keep them interesting.
