Since I didn't see Nessah making this thread I decided to take action :3
Just show your sigs and give comments to others & tips how to improve!
Okay some of mine, I'm kinda new to photoshop but anywais..!

[Xenedus]

oooook long list so bear with me ;)

I'll start with some of the first sigs I ever made and work my way to my current work.

Ok so I started with the basics. I just rendered something and then stuck it over a background and Added text.

This sig just illustrates the basics of sig making. Anyone can make one of these but the problem with them is your picture and your background will not mesh very well and it looks like crap.

Here is a sig made with that exact same formula but a little more advanced with more effects slapped on it

The effects I used in this picture consisted of using a special effect brush to make the background and then applying the extrude effect and for the effect with the character I made multiple duplicates of the render of the character and applied a motion blur to it in different directions and put the original render over all of them. After photoshopping for a while you will begin to find more effects that you like. You can find ways to make more effects on the internet and it should also familiarize you with Photoshop.

After reading a tutorial I worked on making sigs for a while and also started downloading new brushes.

Ok well I think you should work more on the special effects you use in your sigs. Your vector sigs are pretty good but eventually you will probably want to stop working on vector sigs and try to do something more special effect oriented. You can find tons of tutorials on the internet and should also DL some good brushes for the background and check out some C4D renders.

Your renders also look kinda blurry but I'm not sure if that was just the effects you use.

EDIT:
you can also try using adjustment layers to try to unify the color across your Sigs. You can also try to use Gradient overlays to try to play with the color a bit more.

Nice sigs Kazu. I really like your Grand Fantasia sigs. They look really good. A couple of your grunde sigs look a bit busy, but I can tell you've put a lot of effort into all your sigs.

The only sigs I've made is the one I'm currently using and one I've made for my little sister. I might post that one when I get home later.
