What to do to signup for a monthly tournament

- 2) You must make sure your roster is fully updated prior to submitting because once the tournament begins rosters will be locked (as in no one can join during the tournament)
- 3) Prior to each tournament, a topic will be posted in the Stadium Reception Hall | Club Registration sub-forum so make sure to post that you will be participating in that tournament
- 4) Make sure to check the Matchmaker for any updates/match dates
- 5) Play your match and have fun!
Rules and Conduct
- Be respectful to your teammates and opponents
- Keep the complaints to a minimum. If you have a complaint, PM the judge either during the match or after it
In effect as of: November 2009
The time limit
- The deadline after each round is exactly one week apart from each other (Eg. If a round starts monday, it ends next monday)
- You must play your match before that deadline or face disqualification.
- Rescheduling is allowed, but only under certain circumstances.
- You may only reschedule as long as it is in between the start of the round and the deadline.
- If a team is capable of completing the match before the deadline (using subs), they must play or forfeit.
In terms of scheduling your match, for the next tournament, this is mandatory.
Scheduling a match
- Must be done before the weekend.
- Both teams must agree to the time verbally, and have informed the judge.
- If both teams are not consenting, the time will not be set.
- In the event the weekend comes and the teams have not decided their time yet, a judge will decide for them.
- If a team schedules a time and the opposing team does not show up, the opposing team forfeits.
- If a team makes a time, but either team does not have enough people to participate, they may reschedule.
- If a team makes a time, but said team does not show up or cannot be contacted, they forfeit (Must have documented proof)
- In the event of a miscommunication where documented proof is not possible, the wronged team must get consent for forfeit or reschedule for a "double-header" next week where the winners face the next team in the bracket.
Addendum: As of November 27th, 2009
1.Bonuses gained by clothes or eSper Chips that are modifying items are not allowed.
2. The Lag rule is in effect. If your match was disrupted intensely by lag, we allow one rematch. However, there are certain stipulations that must have happened.
- The lag must be noticeable by the judge participating and other players
- There must be proof of said lag causing a disruption
- The team complaining about lag must submit a detailed account
- Lag must have caused serious issues: Eg. You can't score a goal, someone is teleporting or hasn't left their base, they're invincible, etc.
- If it happens in the beginning of the match, the judge will nullify that game. If you have to rematch at a later date,, that one match will be redone and the game will pick up from there. If the rematch leads to a tie, you pick up the spare. If the rematch has lag still, administration will decide by points. We will try not to allow this to become a problem anymore.
3. Multiclubbing of any way, shape, or form is specifically prohibited. Special circumstances will result in immediate removal of the team from our tournament for the rest of the season.
Addendum: As of January 19th, 2010
Friday Rule: You must submit a schedule or shown proof that you have attempted to schedule or complete your match every friday by 11:59 PM PST. If you do not, your team WILL receive one penalty.
Penalties
In terms of the consequences, things such as disqualification will not be the end. If you compete in a tournament having accumulated two penalities you will not receive Qualifier Points for any rank you achieve. If you rack up three, you will not be allowed to participate in the next round. If you manage to rack up five penalties in a single season, you are barred from joining the tournament for an entire season (3 months).
*Note: Will be updated as more information is gathered.
