S4Source has had many events, all of them very enjoyable! Isn't it time you the member get to create your own event and unleash your creativity! Better yet, you should get rewarded for it! Well then here is the perfect event for you! Heres what you have to do:
1. Use that creative mind of yours and think the greatest most fun event ever!
2. Post your idea here and put as many details about it as you can!
3. Its all about creativity so go on and post as many events you can think of, there's no limit!
4. It can either be a forum event or in game event.
5. This event ends in 3 days, that means 12 midnight EST of 6/12/09
6. I'm trying to give you as much freedom as possible so be as creative as you can and Show me your S4!
7. A poll will be created after the event is done to choose the winner. This means that you also get to choose the winner!

PRIZE:

1st place: Your event will be played on the S4Source forums right after this ends!
Custom Title on S4Source

2nd and 3rd place runnerups: Your event will be played after the grand prize winners event.

Idea:

Handgun Tournament in game.

1v1.
single elimination.
randomized brackets.
Handgun and HP+ only.

EUS4 CHASER
One person is on Alpha and the rest go Beta

The Aim is for Beta team to hide and for the "Chaser" (The person in Alpha) to find and kill them.

Beta is not allowed to fight back.

Chaser alternates each round.

The chaser who got the most Points after everyone has chased is the winner.

Points are calculated AT the end of round to stop leavers creating unfair scores.

Points are divided by Amount of players at the end of round, again to compensate for leavers.

TD maps can be done, but require a spectator to watch for spawn campers so the max can only be 5v1.

Tournament Style
ROUND 1
Groups of around seven people are RANDOMLY grouped.
A map is chosen AT RANDOM from: Neden 1; Neden 2; or Neden 3
The game is played as stated in the 1st section..
The winners advance to ROUND 2. If not enough players win to form 1, 2 or 4 groups the closest runners up also advance.
If there are 3 or less people who are not grouped in these rounds they shall advance to the next round AUTOMATICALLY

ROUND 2 AND ABOVE (Depending on Turnout)
People who advanced from the last round are RANDOMLY grouped into groups of around 6.
There will be a single, or two adjudicators in the 2 Spectator slots seeing as this round will be 5(or 4)v1.
A map is chosen at RANDOM from: Neden 1; Neden 2; Neden 3; or Temple M
The game is played as stated in the 1st section.
The winners (If there are less than 4 of them) will WIN THE TOURNAMENT.
If there are 4 or more players still left then Mini or Full Rounds of the type stated in this section shall be played until we are left with 1-3 WINNERS
If there are 3 or less people who are not grouped in these rounds they shall advance to the next round AUTOMATICALLY (Except in the case of the finals, where a designated non-taker part shall play, but they shall skip their turn as a Chaser)

*Grouping system and round system could be adjust depending on turnout, but could be done easily and quickly just by viewing how many turned out at round one. (e.g Changing size groups or amount of rounds)**Sorry if it sounds "Rambly", It may not seem clear but The round system is sorted on paper and in my head*

Rules/Restrictions
DETECT CAN NOT BE USED, INSTANTLY DISQUALIFYED IF USED.

KILLING CHASER = INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION.

Chaser is allowed all weapons EXCEPT installation weapons.

Skills are usable by BOTH teams.

Circle; Old School; Station 1 and Station 2 Will not be played for certain reasons.

Games will be 10 minutes per chaser round.

If you leave game halfway through you will PROBABLY have another chance in a special extra Round one made for leavers, because we know it's not always your fault. However it may be that anyone who leaves EXCEPT between and in the half time of matches MAY be disqualified. *Not yet settled**May only apply for finals etc.*


PRIZE
You like the REV GOD sig? I will make a sig like that with some phrase like "HIDE AND SEEK GOD" or "THE GOD OF CHASE". Perhaps a Custom title, whatever they are if whoever can give them out is kind enough.

The premise is pretty simple.

KING OF THE HILL
Choose a map with a good "hill" e.g Neden 1's warehouse Or St1 centre
Get 2 spectators to be judges;
And 2 teams of 5
Get the 2 teams to fight it out
Judges recored which team is spending the most time in the hill point
When the game is over the judges choose WINNING TEAM
Winning team goes to final/semi-finals

ESCORT
2 Teams in a DM
One member of each team is declared as a CIVILIAN
Teams must protect their own civilian whilst trying to kill their opponents
The civilian IS allowed to use skills and CAN go off by themselves, although this isn't reccomended
Team who's civilian died the most is declared THE LOSER!
Winning team goes to finals/semi-finals
*Idea may or may not have come from the original Team Fortress*

Guns vs Melee tournament

A DM knockout tournament that goes like this:

Team A can only equip 1 shooting weapon and Team B can equip as many melee weapons as they want.

At the end of the match, they play again, but this time team A is melee and team B uses shooting weapons.

At the end of the 2 matches, the total scores are added up and the loser is knocked out of the tournament.

In case of a tie, both teams fight the next team. The team with the highest total score progresses.

Maybe there should be a tryout to check if Guns aren't overpowered, in that case it should be 4 guns vs 5 melee.

This should be 4 vs 4 or maybe 5 vs 5 to make sure nobody cheats.

Standard DM tournament where you can only equip 1 weapon, and it can not be the same weapon as your teammates already have.

Girls vs Guys tournament

To prove once and for all that women are better, and hotter, smarter, nicer and cuter.

A standard DM melee tournament where all skills are allowed.

Best of the best tournament

A 5 vs 5 DM match.

At the end of the match, the two players with the lowest score are eliminated and the match becomes 4 vs 4.

This continues until it's 1 vs 1.

NAZI ZOMBIE MODE :o
6v1 to 1v6

At the start there is ONE zombie, s/he is Only allowed melee but can use any skills they want
At the start there is 6 Suvivors, They are allowed to use guns, but if are caught using skills (Cept Passive ones) they will be disqualified.
The aim of the zombie is to kill the survivors and the suvirors must, well, survive.
If a survivor is killed HE BECOMES A ZOMBIE, he must leave and join the Zombies team, the game ends when the 4th survior is killed (When the auto balancer stops ppl being zombies). The 2 winners advance to the next round (If Round Based Play is chosen)
For finals it's 4v1 to 1v4, this gets past the auto-balance and allows ONE WINNER!

NAZI ZOMBIE MODE V2 :o
1v6

There are 6 zombies and 1 Survivor
Zombies are only allowed melee but can use any skills they want
The Survivor is allowed to use guns, but if s/he is caught using skills (Cept Passive ones) they will be disqualified.
Survivor must die AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE
At the end suvivor becomes a zombie and one zombie becomes a survivor UNTIL everyone has had a go
The winner is: A)The Person who died the least OR B)The person who killed the most zombies (Minusing the amount of deaths they had, multiplied by 2)
If playing rounds top 1-3 scorers advance.
