Well, since I wasn't able to find any help with my projects, I've decided to go ahead and do a bit of my own website design myself. Truth be told, I'm rusty....hella rusty....been using too many premade themes and just image editing. Anyway, this took me 5hrs to come with and code myself but not bad for a person whom hasn't done no coding since 2003. This is only a schema of my site and only the header is almost 100% complete:

Hm, well, my only comment is there's not enough to comment on. You still look like it's in the designing stages so it's not going to be as pretty as you like. For easier travel though, maybe try incorporating some drop boxes. I don't know if you'd have to use flash or something, but when you start providing plenty of services like game and anime reviews, it'd make it much easier.

Above all, try and not leave a lot of emptiness. Even if it's pitch black, it's better than white which is nothing at all. Maybe consider adding a banner that changes, something stylish that's also relevant to what the site has to offer. I dunno if it'd be a good idea for the site, but on the main page, you could have the whole front page scheme change with each reload at random. It'd be pretty cool and interesting as a feature.

Well, that's all my feedback. I know people haven't been as helpful here, but maybe if we bounce ideas off each other, you won't need many people's opinions.

My 2 cents are not worth much but. Its nice. However if i was 'designing a layout' i would want a more 'elaborate' response than that. As reiki said, there's not much to comment on, yet.

This said, i do have opinions tho. Personally i feel that miku is being overused to the point of being a worn rag. She's great, and adorable... however its getting old. I guess it all comes down to what feelings your trying to convey, miku is cute and adorable.. however i'd go for something more 'cool', Fatina from 'druaga no tou' comes to mind (current imagehunting obsession). Other than that, i'd like to see more tbh :D

Good start, I'm not a big fan of the font you choose though. Things kinda of mash together with it depending on the word. Stealth being an example of one.

Okay, I've put the new format online now with the footer. I'm currently working on the top banner again (got rid of the green segment on my offline version of the site) and now I'm working on the middle section but I'm really in a bind. I really want to use a "Flash News Rotator" like on Steparu's & MyS4League site. I remember downloading one but now I lost it and can't remember where I downloaded it from.

This is the only part that's holding me up on finishing the middle content section so if anyone can help me with this on finding one, I would really appreciate it.

Wow....can't believe this topic is still here. Anyway, my site design schemes have gone through a lot of changes but this is the tentative final version of what Anime Toshokan will look like:

The good news is that I got a commissioned worker willing to design this or improve it just a bit and implement it into my site......the bad news is that I need to come up with $1000. At first he was going to charge me $3,744 for the whole thing but one of my friends from here "Yuino Hoon" turned out to be a good friend of his and got my price down. Anyway, I'm trying to run a donation drive to help get at least half of the money up to get this done. I'm sorry for plugging this in here guys but I'm really getting desperate here. Anyway, let me know what you all think of this new design.

Necro-posting is the state of posting something in a very, very old topic. If you had checked, you would have noticed that the last post was made last year. Now, with that being said this thread is about Mikururu's own personal site so we'll allow it. It won't be closed since he can still require assistance/updates as required.

If they're that old then it means people have already stopped caring about it and may not want to see it brought back up/receive notifications about it.
It is simply forum etiquette to not necropost and you will find that it's a rule on almost every forum.

I don't know if a 'rule', but since the topic's lost it's essence, posts afterwards would be considerd spam and that's why most forum MOD's close this kind of threads, so that they can avoid people from 'spamming'.

For this topic, it's kinda allowed to necro this topic as long as you're not spamming it. It's more like advertising at best since S5:S4 Source originated from my site before becoming what it is now. So this is can also be considered homage to the original home of S4 Source.

Although I would love to impliment the design you see up top, it's just designed to complicatedly with what I need to do with Invision Power Board. As it stands right now, it's what I dream to make A-T into when I have the knowledge (or when I get the money).
