What does this have to do with recoil? There is no recoil in S4 lol.

I can rename this thread to "Korean Guide to Bullet-Patterns" if that makes more sense.

That would indeed, seeing as this guide is about spread. Recoil has nothing to do with S4. xD

Sure is does, recoil is the way the bullets kick when they come out of the gun. Granted its a much simpler concept in s4, than in other more complex shooters, take Counter Strike for example. If you spray bullets out your rifle in Counter Strike, They'll end up spraying all over the screen. That's why CS players learn how to control their guns recoil through use of methods like tapping and bursting.

I cant really see how recoil DOESN'T have anything to with s4, or any shooter, honestly.

My understanding was that recoil is just the force of the gun pushing back when it fires. Like how it pushes backward on your hand/arm. That's why in CS the gun moves upward as you fire. (The person isn't strong enough to just keep it still.) And that's not even recoil. People just call it that because recoil causes it.

I guess you could say recoil is the cause of random spread in S4, but I never would have associated the two. My smash rifle bullet going downwards first is definitely not recoil. My cursor does not move in my hand whatsoever, let alone upward. I think it would be more appropriate to just call it spread, because S4's idea of recoil is so inaccurate it doesn't even follow the same law.

Idk. It's a stretch, but i guess you can just call it recoil..although I never will lol.

Check again, Turret and spark don't show spread, there may be more but I didn't check. Also the assault spread they showed was the image from the krs4 guide they edited in after the guides release.
