Chen's family told police that he suffered from a heart condition and officers believe that a combination of fatigue, lack of movement and the cold weather, may have caused him to have a heart attack.

Read that?

Guy played for like a eternity ofc hes going to collapse especially with the heart condition.

“I’m not for one minute blaming the manufacturer of Xbox. It isn’t their fault that people use them for so long. But I want to highlight the dangers that can arise.”

It's like drugs, as long as you control them, they aren't essentially dangerous.

This means unless you're a moron you can still play as long as you want to, just don't forget eating and drinking and mind yourself.

A lot of people who have heart conditions don't know they do until they are dead. not saying this was the case. Though obviously anyone with sense would disagree LoL killed him it is a terrible fact about how unhealthy hardcore gamers tend to be. mentally and physically from all the isolation and lack of movement.i'm sure there are hundreds of thousands/millions who do the same jsut fortunate enough not to have such grave consequence

excessive anything is bad for you

At first i was like 23 Hours from doing nothing but that, pish posh there were worse accounts of people surviving for 2 days without food or sleep. Then i saw he had a heart condition and (i'm guessing) having a LBP and lack of movement which would make the body cold because of it which would have slowed the heartbeat and caused the suspected heart attack, but i am thinking heart failure. Then something caught my eye when i was reading about the Chinese man who died after a three-day online gaming session. I re-read the article and noticed something.

Quote

Police found the body of 23-year-old gaming enthusiast Chen Rong-yu slumped in his chair in a corner of an internet cafe in Taipei, Taiwan, on Wednesday.

3 words catch my eye. Internet Cafe and Taipei, Taiwan.

What the hell ever happened to those laws about preventing this shit again? Does anyone remember when this shit was happening with World of Warcraft so many years ago about kids jumping off bridges and "thinking" they casted slow fall or the few kids that were killed over loot?

As far as I've heard the guy didn't take his medication.
A friend of mine that is in my class can spend 3 consecutive days playing LoL non-stop, the dude is crazy.
