Just bought my copy today!

Until I unlock the right parts for me and probably unlock the Mii character, I probably wont be online...however, We should set up an S4source community (A Group Friendcode so that you only need to add 1 FC to add everyone!) if enough people has it!


Not much to say, its Mario Kart, I enjoyed it...cept for the lack of snaking, being able to snake through a whole course made me feel very accomplished...but you can somewhat do it in this one...Good side is Items seems nerfed and you're not always gonna get gayed with item choices if you're first. (I've gotten Mushrooms, Red shells and the new tanooki tails with deflects everything and anything).


Very much enjoying the Hang Glider, and even the water sections that other seem to hate...

Most of the review is in 50cc , the lowest and easier speed, so thats why it looks slow, I've been playing 150cc and it's been a blast :D

For me, I've played Mario kart since the SNES days as a kid, so everything I came to expect is in MK7...cept the death of snaking...which made me not like MKWii..LOL ;-;

Snaking was a problem on many games though check out F-Zero =/...

Anyways this looks pretty fun actually.

Yeah it's understandible why they took it out, evening the playing field. To me however, that makes it a 30-70 skill to luck ratio than a 60-40...They do have a form of snaking in here though, but after testing its annoying to do and only at certain places:

I got this game Sunday morning also :) I won't be heading online until I unlock all the parts as well haha. Otherwise, MKDS was fun even with snaking, but snaking made it stressful for me as a player as it wasn't fun when I had to resort to snaking to win when someone else did it.

I joined a WiFi community that played this game and had tournaments weekly and there wasn't snaking involved which made the experience much funner :3 I don't know, while its great that snakings gone, it takes away that other competitive side of Mario kart :3

NPCs in the 150ccs are so cheap in this game.. I don't remember struggling this bad to get 3 stars! :<

Didnt unlock alot of stuff yet, decided to test recording with a time trial, as of this post, its the Second Best Time worldwide..apparently :/

Taking me too long to get the 3 stars on 150cc blah! So I decided to take a snap at online and I am quite surprised at how pretty good I was still without the neat unlocks.

I still havent touched online, on Mirror mode atm, all the 3 grand prix i played on there i got 3 stars 8D mushroom wheels = awesome

Just outlapped someone on rainbow road snes version...and had several occasions where i perfected driving the whole 3 rounds up until the front of the final goal and i get bombarded by 494313123 items and go to like 4th or 5th...fml


the feeling of victory isnt there though, since i dont know these people D:

I couldnt get into it D: Like, its way too easy. Races came down to the best car build and a ton of luck, too shallow :C

but its still a great game, i'd join in from time to time
