So, I am trying to get better at drawing.

Some of my drawings turn out fine, and ok. But I really want to learn is how to color them?

I tried my hand at googling guides, and didn't really have much luck.

I guess what im asking is, can anyone give me tips on coloring for basic manga style drawings, and does anyone have any good links to a good coloring guide.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would say that the basic coloring style for anything with lineart is cell shading. Try looking up tips on that. Layers will become your new BFF, so don't be afraid to use them liberally! Also, never be afraid to abuse hue/saturation changes and to play around with layer blending tools for cool effects that you like to use. The more you experiment, the more you will come to develop your own style. It will help you get a grasp on color choices and stuff if you want to go for a more "realistic" coloring technique. Good luck =]
