Some people take it too far but I think there are some games that are better on the PC (for example shooters, real time strategy) and some that are better on consoles (for example platformers, fighting games). All this stuff shouldn't cost stuff 'cause people develop it for free already. It kinda sounds like a scam. And looking at Games for Windows, it totally feels like a scam.

Well, if you pay for xbox live you get free demos, trailers, movies, downloadable content,friend llist that go across all games, voice chat, recording, ect ect. I am no expert on this i'm simply someone who grew up on xbox live, whether its better worse or the same idk and dont care. i honestly dont see the difference all i know is all my fave games are on xbox so i play xbox. i only really started pc because i wanted to try MMOs and eventually ran into s4 somehow

on top of that it comes out to like 8 bucks a month if you buy yearly so............ notexactly a crippling amount

xbox live is just set up very well i dont really know how to explain

On Topic: Was never into the Battlefield series. It looks fun though and might pick it up at a later time on Xbox (though I heard bad things about the single player).

Off Topic: Since SOMEONE decided to bring the console vs PC argument AGAIN (which I don't get how it even started here), I'll provide my general opinion. PC is always going to win out in performance against console if you got the money to support it. That's pretty much unquestioned. However, consoles are hell of a lot cheaper then a good PC and offer just about the same experience. There's also times where PC gets crappy port overs from games that had console first in mind.

Personal preference, I like console gaming more then PC gaming just because I have more friends playing on console then on PC and I grew up with it.

but the multiplayer is insane

Offtopic : Yep this IS very true.
Strategy games (like Starcraft lets say) and shooters (where precision and quick reflexes are, or at least used to, required).
Plantformers and fighting games are made for a controller experience, meaning better on consoles even if you have a controller for your PC.

I wouldn't play a fighting game on a PC, ever. I've played SF3:3rd Strike with my keyboard against my friends and hated every minute of it because I couldn't grasp something with my 2 hands that allowed me to quickly dish out attacks.
You shouldn't play shooting games on a console because the joysticks have far less sensibility than a mouse has, even tough the 360's controller does have a decent sensitivity that is also superior to the PS3's joystick sensitivity.

It's also kinda of weird. Maybe this is just me but most FPS' I play are very complex (like the Red Orchestra ones) and they end up being incredibly simplified if going to consoles (thank God no TripWire Interactive game will ever be a console one).
A game as complex as BF3 is (or at least SHOULD BE since it's the so called "sucessor to BF2") playing it on a console restricts severly your experience.

and y so much hateraid towards consoles/bf/cod wtf are pc people playing thats so great

if consoles were so bad they wouldn't exist considering you can do all the same things on pc not everyone wants to do EVERYTHING on the computer

if iran out and spent 700$ on a new good pc and battlefield i doubt id notice anything that would drastically change how much i like the game
