I read the summary and it sounded like an anime I wouldn't like at all, but I decided to watch the first episode anyway

holy shit

I am now officially interested and it is now my most anticipated anime for this season.
I hope it doesn't disappoint me like AnoHana did

Also I wish there was a game that utilized the mirai nikki mechanic, that would be such a fun game to play

Looking forward to the anime as well~

EDIT: Watched Episode 1 now, and loving every second of it. It's sending me shivers down my spine, something I couldn't get whilst reading the manga.

Some parts are a little unbelievable (i.e. massive character behavioral changes with "insanity" as the explanation, nope not believable) but I really like it
Probably going to end up finishing the manga today

Haven't made that comparison myself, but now that you mention it it makes sense. The phrase "if your name is revealed you will die" or whatever it exactly was in mirai nikki especially reminds about deathnote.

Mother of god, after watching this weeks episode I got so hyped I spent the rest of the night aka 6 hours reading the whole Manga, while the ending kind of disappointed me in a way I cannot accurately describe, I still think the Manga is freaking awesome and I can't wait to watch all of the Anime Episodes, because if they manage to transfer that feeling from the Manga decently, it's just gonna feel fucking awesome.
